Mr D James | April 26, 2014 | P&O Cruises | Azura
I have just returned from a 6 day cruise onboard Azura to Guernsey,La Rochelle and Bilbao. Firstly,no complaints about the ship, really you could be on any ship all nice and modern and plush.
I have only ever cruised with Princess before and I am afraid P&O could learn a lot from Princess in the following areas, general cleanliness in public areas was very poor.In general staff attitudes were very poor especially the Costa cafe which is a lamentable waste of a public area.Princess have their International Cafe which is always a hive of activity.Entertainment was very average and the Atrium was a complete waste of space-no entertainment.
On Princess they seem to have something going on in the Atrium almost all the time.
As I have said this was my first taste of P&O,booked a few weeks before departure and at a good price .
I am sorry to sound a bit negative but this is a genuine comparison by a committed cruiser& I would cruise again with P&O but only if I got a very good deal…..sorry it’s got be Princess Cruises every time for me,brilliant value.
