Cruise 601A

A very enjoyable cruise, our first on Azura though we have cruised many times before. Food was all very good though we thought the selection of salads on the buffets could be more diverse and the buffet layout was not great. Silly tongs wasted time and left you fishing for food!
On a night when my husband was off colour and didn’t feel like dressing for the dining room we were disappointed to find there was no buffet evening meal unless you went on the deck where it was noisy and spicy food was not desirable. We felt on a ship this size there should always be a simple choice in self service in the evening.
Apart from that we enjoyed our meals.
Pleased to say we could always find a quit spot on deck with a lounger, as long as you were happy to get away from the noisy entertainment area, which we were! Maybe better if not all beds were laid out as this made access to some difficult. Some could be put out as needed.
Not thrilled with the entertainment, which we have enjoyed on the past.
Overall a good time was had, but perhaps we still prefer smaller cruise ships.
