Cruise July 9th to July 26th
Verene Eaton | November 19, 2019 | P&O Cruises | Azura
We recently returned from the above cruise and although overall had an enjoyable time it was noticeable that the standard offered by P and o was dropping and this was commented by other people who have cruised several times with the company. We travelled as a party of 6 and as such had expected to dine at a table for 6 and were not happy to be on a table of 11 which incidently should have been for 10 so we were seated uncomfortably. It should. Not be presumed that 2 parties want to be seated together.
We were not happy that stays in port were very short, having to be back on board by 1.00 lor 2.00 pm which hardly gave us time to see much at all.
Although I appreciate that this was a family ship, the music on the decks during the day was unnecessarily loud, again many people we spoke to said the same, both older and younger people. And although there were quieter areas these were in the minority ,and to get a sunbed in these areas you needed to to be there very early as they soon became occupied.
Having read other reviews our feelings seem common and As P and O has always been perceived as a company with high standards in the past which has been very much appreciated by its customers we would hope that these anomalies will be addressed.
