Anon, Leigh on sea, Essex | December 23, 2019 | P&O Cruises | Azura
This was our first ever fly cruise, having sailed many times previously out of Southampton.
It is difficult to find perfection as everybody’s idea of what is good differ. Our criticism was the evening entertainment. The cabarets were third rate at best and theHeadliners were quite the worst we have ever seen.
That aside the food was reasonable , service excellent as usual and freedom dining worked well for us. We loved the warmth of the Caribbean at this time of year and are booked to return.
The Azura experience differed to the long haul that we did on Arcadia last year ,Round trip to the Caribbean from Southampton. Arcadia on a 2 week cruise in the Caribbean would have been our choice but she was elsewhere. The likes of Britannia are too large for us and if that is all that P andO offer in the future we will look elsewhere .
All in all a good cruise spoiled a bit by the average evening entertainment.
