Britannia: “I’m picking up bad vibrations…”
Andrew Weller | October 10, 2022 | P&O Cruises | Britannia
First time on Britannia, but we’ve cruised quite a lot over the years.
Ship was OK, but we felt it lacked “character” compared with others in the fleet.
However, for a newish ship, the level of vibration when at sea was a problem in quite a few areas. We were in C721 (deck 12) and one night we’d spent nearly three hours trying to get to sleep but the vibrations were so bad (like driving continuously over a rumble strip…) that we pitched up at 1am at reception, who found us another room. Bliss!
The buffet (deck 15) would vibrate so much at times that cutlery would jigger on the tables. The atrium occasionally joined in the vibe… Apparently some people in the suites at the rear of the ship were also less than impressed.
So, sorry P&O, this needs looking at before I’d consider Britannia again,
