Caribbean Feb. 2018
Ray Gill | March 20, 2018 | P&O Cruises | Britannia
Although the weather was very mixed with rain showers most days, nevertheless this was an enjoyable cruise on Britannia, the largest ship we have been on. Re-visiting some of the Islands for the 3rd time meant we could choose to go in directions we had not previously been. The venues on board gave a variety of entertainment, the Limelight Club being a particularly great addition giving that cabaret/dining experience.
The specialist dining of Sindhu was also excellent and made for a great evening, booking well in advance is advised.
The “sail-away” parties, hosted by Neil Oliver and his team, always create a real friendly atmosphere and this “friendliness” with other passengers was evident throughout the ship. Being a large ship, Britannia takes a while to get to know your bearings, using the correct lift or stairway etc. to get to your venue, but this is all part of the fun- providing you don’t mind a good walk, saves going to the gym!
