Dining fiasco on P&O
Joan Etherington | August 31, 2021 | P&O Cruises | Britannia
Recently returned from Britannia staycation. After a lot of hassle with paperwork etc and covid requirements we enjoyed the cruise despite it being somewhat different from normality , the only moan we had was the dining proceedure. We always opt for club dining having a regular time in early sitting the same table and waiters who get to know your preferences. This time only freedom dining booked via App which was a joke. Could only book 5.45-6.30 via App when possible and then told up to 50 in queue ahead of you online. We are booked for a 35 night cruise for our Golden anniversary in Feb but we want clarification that Club dining will ‘be reinstated with adequate staffing levels because we couldn’t stand 35 nights of the App fiasco on dining.
