Iona Mediterranean cruise
Geoffrey Saville | October 15, 2023 | P&O Cruises | Iona
Iona is a magnificent ship congratulations to its builders. As far as we are concerned as senior people with 25 years cruising experience we found it too big and required too much walking from cabin to venues. We felt it was intended to serve a younger passenger than us. The entertainment was for young people and there was no thought about classical music or middle of the road singers. Theatre shows were poor the singing inaudible and cancelled a number of times. No provision for such activities as bridge. Too many shops and too many occasions for their promotion. Food ok but considerably reduced in quality from our much earlier cruises. Chaos in the custom area getting off but car arrangements and embarkation very good. Iona is definitely not for us in the future
