The princess experience

Having just spent 17 days on board the emerald princess I personally found the experience probably just above average . There were good points and not so good points regarding this ship . Firstly the balcony cabin was adequate . Plenty of storage space but bathroom was a bit cramped . Balcony superb size on caribe deck . Service and entertainment on board really very good indeed . The negatives for me would be the standard of food in main restaurants just average had better on other cruise lines . Worst aspect was self service cafe as food area very cramped and hence not much choice . Also very hard to find anywhere to sit . Sunbeds on deck to close together and most we’re not that comfortable . Evening entertainment on the whole very good indeed but during day events and talks were a little uninspiring . So to summarise I would say the ship is is 3.5 to 4 star . Had a very pleasant cruise and a good rest . Would I try princess again … Well only if it was calling at ports I specifically wished to visit . I don’t think this line would be my preferred choice .
