We joined the latest of The Princess ships on its second week of service on a repositioning cruise. You wear a medallion meaning that you no longer have a cruise card and you don’t have a receipt for onboard purchases. The only way you know what you are spending is to find your expenditure on a TV channel or download an app.
The only use I found for this medallion was it opens your cabin door without a keycard.
Drinks are very expensive as are excursions. For excursions use local services.
I believe that the Sky Princess is to be used for 7 day cruises to The Caribbean out of Florida and I believe it was built for this purpose although it’s size may result in the need for tendering.
The food is excellent.
