Regent not 6 star

Booking early we were not aware of flight details, when these came through we found that due to the Xmas rush we had a 9pm flight back from Miami with an 8 hour wait at the airport. At nearly 80 with 2 new knees and 2 replacement hips we said not acceptable. I suggested a day room at a local hotel where we could relax for the day Regent wouldn’t play ball. I then said to get the flights we wanted we would stay over for a couple of days if Regent would pick up the transfers again a refusal.
Reading this saga which went on over a 5 month period we were now not looking foreward to our 40th wedding anniversary cruise and we couldn’t get our money back but found if we were American or Canadian we could. The Brits being adversely affected, please note.
Being now totally disenchanted I wrote to the President of Regent in Miami no reply. He is in charge of customer relations!. Then the MD in the UK again no reply., but I do get a letter from the Customer Services Manager giving details of dates and flights which I accept in writing then they come back with we cant get those flights.
We then said give us our money back which they did. We had been with both Regent before as well as Oceana with no problems so to have this saga was a surprise and not worthy of a six star Company Never again..
