Regent Cruising

A good cruise but three comments for Regent to consider. One or two of the excursions were not of the standard I would expect from Regent. Basically poor guides. I had to approach the cruise director because some of the areas of the ship were very cold and to be quite honest unpleasant. My comments were not acted on. My last comment relates to medical services. My wife was feeling unwell and wondered if she had COVID. Although we had taken our own test kits these had unfortunately gone beyond their use by date. We visited the medical centre who said the only way we could get a test kit was to see the doctor, cost $169, who would then issue the kit cost $240. We decided not to incur the cost which would have been covered by insurance and fortunately my wife did not have covid but could have done which she would then spread around the ship with all its problems and I would suggest that Regent supply the kits on request as they are so cheap and could save Regent a great deal of trouble. Otherwise a very pleasant cruise.
