Impressed with Honolou and Fiji however, Noumea was disappointing but hid storm conditions soon after which meant we didn’t enter 2 of our ports, Pago Pago & Port Vila. We docked in Newcastle which was not on our itinerary, a real bonus a lovely port. The cruise was also hampered by ill health and unfortunately deaths. The captain and his crew were remarkable to avoid the worst of the cyclone and to add Newcastle at such short notice to the itinerary.
The Arcadia is an ideal size, a happy ship which comes through from all the crew.
Minor issues were that the air conditioning to the gym wasn’t working and some areas on occasions were decidedly cold. Areas of shade, out of the sun, are very limited.
