Venice to Istanbul

Spirit was showing signs that the vessel together with it’s sister “Legend” had already been sold on so that maintenance was only sufficient for purpose.. Example one of the two tenders was constantly out of commission as it’s steering was reported to be faulty. Hence long waits to get ashore and back.Also a section of timber framing to our suite had fallen off and lying on the carpet. Eventually I was so fed up that I asked the staff to bring me a screw driver. Annoyingly a large dirty laundry basket together with a small red plastic bucket was left in the corridor outside our cabin/suite. Unsightly and probably a safety issue not keeping the evacuation route clear.
The wi-fi was expensive and should have been free on a vessel where most things are meant to be inclusive.
Shore excursions rediculously expensive and when we did wish to take one it was cancelled due to lack of demand.
Why charge $100 dollars per couple for a Turkish visa when within 2 minutes of leaving the Spirit I was able to obtain a visa with a wait of one minute and for a combined all in cost of ?œ20 sterling. Less than a third.
I think next year we shall try Silverseas
