Like many people on this cruise, I was our first time with Saga. We very much liked the ship and the crew but the admin was not always good.
It was apparent that at least 48 hours ahead of the scheduled embarkation, there was going to be a delay of at least 3 hours before Boarding could commence. However this was not communicated to us by phone, email or text. The result was we arrived at about 14.30 and was told to not return until after 17.00. We had opted to travel independently but we are aware that some other passengers, even with Chauffeur pick ups were also not advised.
We fully understand the reasons for the delay – the Ship had to be “deep cleaned” – but to not be informed beforehand was very inconvenient and unsatisfactory
