Exceeded expectationsByon 22 May 2019Royal Caribbean International | Allure of the Seas Reviews
Amazing ship with outstanding service and food. Very comfortable and exceptionally clean. Only big disappointment was the palava for boarding due to ‘technical problems’ which went on to reduce our stay in St Maarten and Puerto Rico (also resulting in our trip being cancelled and refunded) so we could have maximum time in Labidee (which Royal Caribbean just happen to own). Taking this into consideration I’d still go on another Royal Caribbean cruise.
September sun with no shadeByon 26 September 2016Royal Caribbean International | Allure of the Seas Reviews
Spectacular ship. Has to be seen to be believed. A few disappointments though. We booked a central park balcony cabin which we expected to be a lovely quiet spot overlooking the beautiful central park. It was beautiful but we couldn’t sit on the balcony due to music blaring out constantly from the pool deck above. As we went in September it was very hot but there is hardly any shade on the whole ship. Lots...
13th Cruise – certainly not unlucky!Byon 18 October 2015Royal Caribbean International | Allure of the Seas Reviews
Booked to experience the ship not the destination as we have sailed the Mediterranean quite a few times and love it. The experience was very memorable and all good! Nothing was too much trouble for the crew and we would highly recommend the ship to anyone.
WowByon 15 October 2015Royal Caribbean International | Allure of the Seas Reviews
A amazing boat entertainment excellent, staff excellent boat excellent food excellent although had a amazing time and loved the boat it’s probably a bit to large for me and very busy.
Allure of the Seas loud brash and AmericanByon 30 August 2015Royal Caribbean International | Allure of the Seas Reviews
Food, service and organisation very good, as were the cabin and restaurant & bar staff. Cabins and public areas were maintained to a high standard. The facilities were as advertised and as we were going on this trip for our grandchildren it did not disappoint. The entertainment offered was varied and of a very high standard. I had envisaged a very high child to adult ratio but was surprised to find that this was not...
Western MedByon 24 August 2015Royal Caribbean International | Allure of the Seas Reviews
The largest ship we have been on and we were concerned but the facilities were perfect for our grandson (aged 13) and daughter who had not cruised before and we didn’t have to queue for meals as expected. We booked our trips ashore in advance and mistakenly booked Cruise Excursions thinking they were part of Royal Caribbean. However, this was to our advantage as they were excellent and cheaper. The catering was excellent on board,...
Royal Caribbean so not right or fair for Baby!!Byon 27 July 2015Royal Caribbean International | Allure of the Seas Reviews
We are seasoned cruisers having travelled with RC many times (I??m an Emerald member of their cruise club), and we have watched the cruise market change so much??from personal excellent care, to the now; let??s just make money out of you approach!! This review is hot off the press because we are on board now on the Allure on the 2nd day of the vacation. This little story is quite bad and will (and should)...
Allure from RomeByon 11 June 2015Royal Caribbean International | Allure of the Seas Reviews
We travelled with daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren aged 6 and 4. First time on the biggest ship although my husband and I are frequent cruisers. Great ship with lots of things to do. Between us we did zip wire, ice skating, rock climbing and flow rider. Children loved mini golf, carousel, pools and character breakfast with Shrek, Fiona and Puss-in-Boots. Unfortunately the water was really cold in the H2O zone, so the adults did not...
allure of the seas dec 2013Byon 12 December 2013Royal Caribbean International | Allure of the Seas Reviews
Initial impressions as we pulled up to the port was the size of the ship as others were docked as we drove in and it dwarfed everything around it, everything as we checked in was slick and i was surprised as expected long queues massive waiting times, moral of the story is enough staff to deal with the amount of people you expect (not like british supermarkets) Impressed with the initial friendliness and service of...
Allure Is AlluringByon 12 December 2013Royal Caribbean International | Allure of the Seas Reviews
This particular ship has something to suit anyone. The solarium and Vitality spa give the impression that you are not on a large commercial cruise ship, as they offer a welcome retreat. The area is also adult only (over 16) so you can get an escape from the all action atmosphere if you wanted to. It is also easy to get caught up on numbers but for the amount of passengers onboard the ship caters...
Alure caribbeanByon 16 April 2013Royal Caribbean International | Allure of the Seas Reviews
A great ship. It has to be seen to be believed! We had thought that getting on and off with so many passengers would be a nightmare but it was always faultless. Our cabin overlooked Central Park and I would recommend this position as it is lovely and quiet. The show are fantastic, expecially the aqua show. Book all the shows online before you go as you can’t just walk in without pre booking. We...
Allure of the SeasByon 15 April 2013Royal Caribbean International | Allure of the Seas Reviews
Caribbean April 2013 – WOW and amazing. Sailed with RC/Princess and Cunard previously. We were worried that the ship may be too large but in fact it was the best ship we have sailed on. The staff, food, entertainment second to none – the Central Park area beautiful. We sat outside Giovanni’s italian restaurant one night with the open skies and you could have been in any italian city! There are computer screens near every...
An amazing shipByon 15 April 2013Royal Caribbean International | Allure of the Seas Reviews
What an amazing ship, on initial boarding the Royal Promenade reminded us of both the Voyager and Independence class……but that’s where it ended, Central Park is an amazing area to walk about and to dine outside, and the Boardwalk is even more unique, again an outside area to walk about but also containing the water theatre which seats over 1000. The real surprise was no queues or waiting, RCCL have cracked it on this ship,...
Lovely ship, REMEMBER A USA ADAPTOR!!Byon 20 October 2012Royal Caribbean International | Allure of the Seas Reviews
There is a lot of loud sound throughout the ship especially at night. Muzak is not welcomed by us older ones. In the Shows in the evening the band drowned out soloists and they turned the sound up so loud my husband took out his hearing aid and I wished I had earplugs!! The cabins are cosy, not quite enough drawer space, the ship is lovely. There is a big lovely lounge at the front...
Beautiful Boudicca – Outstanding service and Friendly!Byon 11 October 2012Royal Caribbean International | Allure of the Seas Reviews
My husband and I decided to try the Boudicca mainly for the itinerary which went to Iceland and Norway, places that we have been wanting to see for a long time. To approach these places in a cruise ship, often at sunrise, was one of the highlights of the cruise along with seeing both whales and seals in their natural habitat. We had travelled on Black Watch before and loved the friendly atmosphere onboard and...
Amazing Allure WOW WOW WOW!Byon 29 November 2011Royal Caribbean International | Allure of the Seas Reviews
WOW WOW WOW!!!! The Allure Of The Seas is the most amazing spectacular ship I have ever seen. I was so privileged to go on the Allure and would recommend it to anyone. You never felt like you were on a ship and because of the open air feel to it you felt like you could have been anywhere other than at sea. It was an amazing experience and the 3 days which I had...
