Title: Sydney to Singapore (part of a world cruise) Summary: We had a lovely holiday and it was an experience to complete part of a World Cruise. The ship is a bit tired and the entertainment could have been a bit livelier. Due to the nature of the cruise it had lots of retired people on board and perhaps the entertainment was targeted to that age group. More choice of entertainment and also longer slots than 45 minutes at a time wouldn’t have helped. The...

Title: San Francsico to Sydney Summary: Impressed with Honolou and Fiji however, Noumea was disappointing but hid storm conditions soon after which meant we didn’t enter 2 of our ports, Pago Pago & Port Vila. We docked in Newcastle which was not on our itinerary, a real bonus a lovely port. The cruise was also hampered by ill health and unfortunately deaths. The captain and his crew were remarkable to avoid the worst of the cyclone and to add Newcastle at...

Title: Alright, but could be better Summary: Our stateroom was on A deck, above us was the swimming pool and recreation area. During the night the crew moved the sun loungers and other items about, by dragging along the floor. This was usually about 5.30am but occasionally 3.15am. We complained about this but no action was taken and it continued throughout the cruise. We have always enjoyed the formal dining, but although the service was excellent, portions arrived plated and could have...

Title: Great cruise even in bad weather Summary: Heavy seas both outbound and home. Entertainment good but felt that Emma Alexander did not have the full support of her crew. Our major disappoint was that the Christmas and New Year cruises have been discontinued. There were a considerable number of passengers that we had met over the last 5 years who were equally upset. Do P and O want the custom of our age groups or not?

Title: A memorable trip Summary: Well maintained ship with beautiful Xmas decorations! Comfortable cabin albeit a bit small. Excellent steward, Joaquim on Sun deck. Most staff very friendly and efficient especially in the bars. Entertainment staff a bit disappointing. They are young 20 or 30 somethings and often were not tolerant of us older passengers. They huffed and puffed if you asked them to repeat something. Not all were like this but Ebony needs to watch her manner! Did not...

Title: Non event Summary: A bit of a non event. A mini cruise to Brugge via Zeebrugge. Firstly we did not receive our coloured luggage labels or any information about any formal night which is normally enclosed in the itinerary booklet with the tickets usually sent directly from P&O hence we did not take any formal dress. It was a bit embarrassing when we found out that there was a black tie event on the second/ last night of...

Title: Could be better Summary: For saying ship had update was in poor condition with buckets everywhere on the ship from theatre to bars. Toilets always out of condition meaning you had to go from level 9 to another floor or your cabin as Ladies toilets regularly not working. A front of house staff was very rude and basically called us liars when we complained about noise during the first night at sea.

Title: Winter cruise Iberia, Canaries, Madiera & Azores November 2018 Summary: Check in was smooth. The cabin was roomy and comfortable with usual 4/5* comforts. All the meals were of a high standard. There were multiple choices for all courses, enough to satisfy most people. We visited the Ocean Grill twice for Dinner and found the food and service to be of the highest standard. The service in both the Meridian and Grill to be First Class. The wine list was good. Prices starting at £15....

Title: Winter sun Summary: Lovely cruise unfortunately we couldn’t dock in the Azures due to weather , went to Cadiz , Vigo instead a bit disappointing but we had great weather and a lovely time finished off with a late stay in Vigo for Christmas light switch on which was lovely . Disappointed with freedom dining this time waited that long and seated that late we would have been better off on second sitting . First and last time...

Title: Time to change cruise lines? Summary: This was our third time on the Arcadia (previously two on Aurora) and sadly we could see the impact of P&O cutbacks – some were trivial like no Twinings and cheap biscuits, but some were major such as the quality of food in the Meridian and the waiters there having more tables which meant longer waiting times. There was a change of chef for our voyage to the Canaries, and passengers who were doing back-to-back...

Title: Dreadful Summary: We returned to p and o after a poor experience last year on celebrity. This ship is dated not ‘classic’ Terrible noise from the engines in the dinning room. Lounge Entertainers were poor and headliners company had no new acts to offer. Comedians also had the same act from years ago and the magician was dreadful. Due to the age of the cruisers, the nightclub was empty which is a bit of a shame. Air...

Title: Disappointed Summary: First time on Arcadia. Very “bland” ship – no frills whatsoever so very disappointing. It was really cold, many people complaining – to no avail. Food was okay but not up to the standards we have had on other ships. Entertainment was really very poor. The Headliners are screamers and not singers, so we gave it a miss. The internet service (which we need to use for our business) was the worst I have experienced...

Title: Something seriously wrong Summary: There is something seriously wrong on Arcadia. This was our first cruise in the Baltic Tier (gives you an idea how often we have cruised with P & O) but the whole experience was a let down and we felt very sorry for first-time cruisers who would not have gained the right impression of a P & O cruise. Putting aside the bad weather which nobody can control – the whole atmosphere of the ship...

Title: 30 night roundtrip Carribean with Bermuda Summary: As usual, the cabin and waiting staff were excellent, I had mobility issues as the Wednesday before sailing it was confirmed I have a slipped disc pressing on the sciatic nerve so moving around was tricky most of the time and painful all of the time. The staff were very willing and accommodating when I needed help, but left me alone when I was ok. It also restricted the day trips and sightseeing I could...

Title: Wonderful treat Summary: We’ve just got back from a month-long cruise to the Caribbean and thoroughly enjoyed it. As it was still their rainy/hurricane season, we had some rain but most of the afternoons were sunny. Due to an Atlantic storm, we bypassed the Azores and went to La Coruna in northern Spain instead which was wonderful, thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Having beautiful sunshine also helped! The staff as always were wonderful, shows, activities, food all up...

Title: Wonderful cruise Summary: My husband and I had a cruise from 3rd-20th October to the Mediterranean. This was our second time on Arcadia ( tenth cruise in total) and the refurbishment had been done very tastefully. The service, food and entertainment were all excellent. We enjoyed most ports of call, only buying shore excursions in Toulon and Barcelona. We were restricted with the cabin we could choose because my husband’s disability requires a walk-in shower and we do...
