Title: Baltic cruise Summary: Aurora is looking good. Had a fantastic cruise with a great itinerary. A special thanks to the Captain, Staff and Shore team for rearranging the port of Tallinn after our disappointing news that we could not get into Visby because of the wind force. Never mind maybe we will be lucky next time.

Title: Lovely Aurora Summary: Our first time on Aurora and really enjoyed our cruise around the Baltic States. The staff were great, our Cabin Steward was professional, polite and nothing was too much trouble. Our inside cabin was roomy and spotless with a comfortable Queen size bed. Staff in the medina restaurant were faultless, the food some of the most delicious we have had on board. The Glass House was difficult to avoid because of the choice of wines,...

Title: Aurora to the Baltic 21 June to 7 July 2019 Summary: We drove down on the Thursday and stayed overnight near Romsey which meant we were quite early arriving at the Mayflower terminal, with no queuing to hand over the luggage and car and straight to check in and after a short wait boarded. Our 8th time on Aurora and my 25th time on P&O – my wife and her sister are both ahead of me (and always will be) in that respect. After lunching and...

Title: Med Cruise Summary: It did not help that my wife was ill and, subsequently, spent a lot of time in the Medical Centre over the whole 18 day cruise. However, having said that, we both noticed that the standard of food was not up to P & O’s usual quality and we also heard this from other independent cruisers on Freedom dining. Also the entertainment wasn’t very good at all. The Headliners were as professional as usual but...

Title: Post refit cruise Summary: Enjoyed a 19-day cruise aboard Aurora around the Med. Since last on board some years ago the ship has benefitted greatly from its refit. Cabin was clean and satisfactorily appointed, overall the ship was kept in good order. Pleased with the holiday – only weaknesses I found were the Sindhu restaurant and the entertainment particularly the ‘in house’ group and their shows. Some significant improvement needed on these. Captain Turnbull was terrific, kept the passengers...

Title: Love to cruise Summary: A great cruise again with P & O. our second time on Aurora. Made the most of this cruise but it was very different from any before. Gale force cold winds, high rough seas and cloudy sky’s. Never before have we had bad weather so I guess we have been lucky. Of course non of this could be blamed on P &O or the ship Aurora. Everything about the ship, crew and all the staff...

Title: Return to Aurora. Summary: I last sailed on Aurora about 12 years ago. The ship had recently had a refit and was in reasonable good condition. The cabins were clean and the bed very comfortable. The staff were friendly and did a lot to make sure the service given was of a high standard. The only downside was that the food was not always as good as I remembered especially in the Horizon buffet. The itinerary of ports was...

Title: First cruise after refit to adult only Summary: Went on Aurora after refit sailing to Canaries and Azores on 8th April. Whilst holiday was ok I wonder why she sailed with still work to do.. Carpets were being laid in some cabins on our deck A and furniture installed. The gym was out of action for part of the cruise although we had been advised of this. In addition, the ship had to undergo engine tests at sea-bringing it up to full speed...

Title: Let down by early start to refit Summary: The cruise itself was as good a standard as we had previously experienced, however P&O’s decision to start working on the refit whist passengers were still on board was unacceptable. Early morning disturbance, lifts taken out of service, items being removed from cabins and public areas being stripped was the start, then whilst passengers were waiting to be called to disembark having furniture removed from around us. To cap it all builders were waiting by...
