As an adult-only ship, Aurora is a classic ship with an elegant tiered stern and longbow. At her heart is a water feature which forms the centrepiece of her atrium, one of her signature features. You’ll also find a range of bars, a cinema, theatre and an outdoor pool with retractable roof. Dining highlights include The Glass House and The Beach House.

Title: Music at sea cruise Summary: We have just returned from this cruise. The music side was excellent, with a huge variety of events, all very enjoyable. However we found the food disappointing on this occasion, lacking imagination and of mediocre quality (too many root vegetables as one example). Too many cuts also eg. no birthday balloons, garlands, flags etc. The fun has been taken out of cruising, and we missed this.

Title: The Fall in New England Summary: This cruise was up to P&O Cruises/Aurora usual high standards. We hope this ship is around much longer than anticipated so that we can enjoy her, her crew & ambience again.

Title: Amazing time. Summary: We have just been on the New York and Canada cruise. We had a really amazing time and just loved New York. Lovely friendly ship and crew. Had to take a 600 mile detour to avoid the hurricane and a few eventful instances but the captain was very professional and always kept us informed what was happening.

Title: Canada and USA – Do it on the Aurora if possible- I think Summary: Lovely Transatlantic Cruise, disappointing weather on the way home, but as they say “ you pays your money and takes your chance”. For us the Aurora is P&O s 4 Star flagship – a step above Oceana and Azura, certainly. Plenty of deck space, wide wrap around promenade deck, Anderson’s bar and not to mention , a very efficient tender service. We find the Captains style reflects on the service. On the Aurora this time...

Title: Had a great time. Summary: A cruise to the Canary Islands was just what we needed, plenty of days at sea and lovely weather made this the ideal vacation. We thought that the ship was in good condition after her refit and conversion to “adults only” although there were some references in signage etc. to children which really should have been removed. Obviously the ship is not new so some signs of aging was inevitable but maintenance seemed to to...

Title: Great cruise to Madeira, Spain and the Canary Islands. Summary: Aurora has recently been refitted to be an adult-only ship. The decor is a classic style cruise ship, very elegant. The main dining room meals were excellent, especially the gala dinners inspired by Marco Pierre White and the executive’s chefs. We eat in Sindhu the Asian speciality restaurant for which there is a cover charge but well worth it, we had the 5-course tasting menu which excellent, and as always in the Sindhu restaurants on...

Title: Western Med, August 2nd Summary: Generally, the cruise was lovely, weather and sea conditions ideal. However, over the past 13 years that we have cruised with P & O we have noticed that every time there seems to be something, albeit, quite small that has changed and not for the better. In isolation these things seem trivial but added together are found to be quite irritating. No flowers in the cabin, no turn down service on the first night. Bed...

Title: Decline in food standards/new menus Summary: We have always looked forward to lunchtime seated dining and having been on the Oriana in April so expected the same enjoyable experience on the Aurora. Sadly the lunchtime menus were changed back in late 2018. The menus are confusing with some options repeated. The choices are more like pub meals with chip, chips, chips. The sharing menu portions are too small. Presentation of burgers/sandwiches poor, no side salads, very unappetising. The salad and cold...

Title: Aurora Summary: We were on the Aurora going to the Canary Islands. We had terrible weather it was cold and the winds were awful. We had a balcony cabin which we were told they had been refurbished ours wasn’t outside the roof of the balcony was peeling off and very rusty. We have been on this ship before and enjoyed it but this time the shows were not very good and when we arrived at the ports...

Title: Disappointed Summary: Very disappointed, this cruise is advertised as adults only, what it should say is elderly only, this ship is like a floating nursing home! We have nothing against the elderly as we will all get there one day, however on my holidays, I don’t want it forced on me. The entertainment was very poor, the same band The Choice, awful singer. We were expecting more nightlife, however, there was no night club no champagne bars,...

Title: Canary Islands Summary: This was the worst cruise we have been on after having been on 19 cruises. 1. Poor soundproofing in the cabin and between cinema adjacent activities. 2.Food not up to previous standards. 3. Constant roll on ship even when relatively calm seas. 4. Itinerary badly organised, too long at sea. Generally, we considered that there was a lower of standards, poor value for money

Title: Boring Aurora Summary: Returned one week ago from a cruise to Canaries. How disappointed we were, this was our 5th cruise with P & O our 1st on Aurora. Firstly the ports of call were not very good. On the whole we docked on the wrong side of each island and unless you paid the extortionate cost of the trips you were stuck in a not so good area for tourism. On board we were so bored. There...

Title: Fabulous mini break Summary: We had a mini break to Guernsey, adapted cabin was spacious and accessible for my sister who uses a wheelchair. The staff all over the ship were fantastic and so helpful, especially in the Medina restaurant. The entertainment team were just that entertaining and so good. Thank you for a wonderful time and we will be back.

Title: Baltic cruise Summary: Aurora is looking good. Had a fantastic cruise with a great itinerary. A special thanks to the Captain, Staff and Shore team for rearranging the port of Tallinn after our disappointing news that we could not get into Visby because of the wind force. Never mind maybe we will be lucky next time.

Title: Lovely Aurora Summary: Our first time on Aurora and really enjoyed our cruise around the Baltic States. The staff were great, our Cabin Steward was professional, polite and nothing was too much trouble. Our inside cabin was roomy and spotless with a comfortable Queen size bed. Staff in the medina restaurant were faultless, the food some of the most delicious we have had on board. The Glass House was difficult to avoid because of the choice of wines,...

Title: Aurora to the Baltic 21 June to 7 July 2019 Summary: We drove down on the Thursday and stayed overnight near Romsey which meant we were quite early arriving at the Mayflower terminal, with no queuing to hand over the luggage and car and straight to check in and after a short wait boarded. Our 8th time on Aurora and my 25th time on P&O – my wife and her sister are both ahead of me (and always will be) in that respect. After lunching and...

Title: Med Cruise Summary: It did not help that my wife was ill and, subsequently, spent a lot of time in the Medical Centre over the whole 18 day cruise. However, having said that, we both noticed that the standard of food was not up to P & O’s usual quality and we also heard this from other independent cruisers on Freedom dining. Also the entertainment wasn’t very good at all. The Headliners were as professional as usual but...
