We would never have considered Azamara as an option when booking a cruise, we love to travel with Princess and Royal Caribbean, I telephoned Bolsover and spoke with Noel requesting a last minute cruise from Barcelona on possibly the Symphony of the Seas. There was no availability on our chosen dates but Noel suggested Azamara, we were a bit dubious at first given the size of the ship, but when we learned of itinerary and...

Azamara lived up to its name and reputation. Food and wine always excellent and the crew as ever, were patient, caring, courteous and always smiling. Very professional. We visited some very good and beautiful ports. The only downside was the exorbitant cost of excursions. This has led passengers to use their ingenuity to seek other ways and means to do the same trips but at much lower costs. An almost identical, excursion at Kotor costing...

50 cruises later we so enjoy Azamara but for us who like at least 3 cruises a year it has become expensive due to the us and Aussie market. We would sail again if circumstances change. The service is where the company excel and successful win, especially with no tipping. The drinks package is very good food in the restaurant and choices again are all we need and l am a very fussy diner.you can...

8 Night Iberian Adventure that exceeded our expectations

Azamara Club Cruises | Azamara Quest Reviews

8 Night Iberian Adventure that exceeded our expectations Embarkation – Having taken the early flight from London Heathrow, we were soon in the pre-booked taxi from Lisbon airport to the cruise terminal which didn’t take too long and cost 26 euros. Check in was empty, we got our cruise cards and were ready to board. There was about a 15-minute wait and we boarded so all very seamless. We had a little lunch and lay...

We chose Azamara as had sailed with them before and therefore had certain expectations. In every respect, they lived up to our previous cruise. The one thing that defines Azamara are the crew. From the Officers to the odd time you bump into an engineer the whole focus is on the passengers. Food, wether it was the buffet to the specialty restaurants, always maintained a high standard and great selection. They are getting pricey and...

All the ports visited on this cruise were really lovely, especially in Croatia. As the ship is small, there was no waiting to go ashore either in tenders or at the docks. The food is excellent, and the inclusive drinks are great as you have no added shocks when the final bill arrives! As gratuities are also included, the staff are very well trained and look after you knowing that they do not receive extra...

Azamara Club Cruises | Azamara Quest Reviews

Excellent destination and good ports of call in New Zealand. The land excursions were good and the New Zealanders provided excellent tour guides. The ship is a good size and a little worn and is going for refit in two months . The service and cleanliness of the ship is excellent. However for a so called 4/5 star cruising experience the food was disappointing. There is too little fresh food, had to put up with...

This was our first trip with Azamara Quest. A nice, small and compact ship. A little over 600 passengers with 400 crew – a very good ratio. Booking-in was efficient. Cabin with balcony was compact and comfortable. Facilities onboard were very good – something to suit everyones taste. The crew were extremely friendly and ready to help with any problem (if any). Captain Carl, a Brit, was entertaining and approachable. Our trips were well organised....

We have been on over 50 cruises, and this cruise exceeded our expectations. We chose to hire local guides , and as we are over 70,several friends thought we were eccentric , and advised us not to do so . It was simply an amazing experience , as we were able to get into the local culture and cuisine. The main attraction was to see the historical vestiges of the American war , but of...

Azamara Club Cruises | Azamara Quest Reviews

Brief notes only: Showers too small. Apparently even after the refurbishment in April these will not be altered. Excursions very expensive. Difficulty booking times in speciality restaurants because times of daily events sometimes changed ie. lectures and entertainment. Wrong information given at the Land Discovery Desk. Twice we were told that it would be a ten minute walk into the centre of Muscat for us to pick up an independent trip. At 91F heat it...

We have recently returned from a cruise on the Azamara Quest from Istanbul to Athens. It is nearly 2 years since the last of our 5 previous cruises with Azamara .We were delighted to find that the on board standard of service ,quality of food and friendliness of the staff remain as high as ever. Just a couple of little niggles :- 1. There were no Azamara staff members to assist us on our arrival...

Azamara Club Cruises | Azamara Quest Reviews

We did two back to back Eastern Med cruises on the Quest to fulfil an ambition to sail in and out of Venice. Both our departures from Venice were spectacular with glorious evening sunshine bathing the old buildings alongside the Grand Canal. Just what we planned and hoped for. The ports of call on both cruises were generally excellent and mainly new to us. Croatia was a revelation and somewhere we have earmarked for a...

Excellent. We travelled with 6 friends and we all enjoyed ourselves. The ports of call were good, tender service worked well. Liked the ship and what a smaller ship offers. Sunbed space was never a problem and lack of “jolly” commercialism, was greatly appreciated. Hope to be back on another cruise with Azamara.

The ship, crew, food were marvelous. The entertainment of an evening was non existent as was the Amazing Evening in Corsica, dreadful, luckily they let us on a coach early so we could leave this awful evening. We also complained about there being no Port Talks, and was told the one booked was unable to join the cruise, and a speaker would be joining the ship the day we were leaving, for the next cruise...

I have just returned from an eight night cruise on Azamara Quest starting on the 22nd April I boarded the ship in Nice and disembarked in Rome. The itinerary included Mont e Carlo, Livorno, Porto Vecchio (Italy), Sardinia, Elba and Corsica. We have just returned from a 12 day cruise on the Azamara Quest from Buenos Aires to Rio – being there 3 days for Carnival. This was our second Azamara cruise (having done a 12 day cruise on the Journey from Monaco to Rome, Sept 2012) and it was equally as good. The food, service and attention to detail are outstanding. We have cruised for many years – favouring Celebrity – but the standard of...
