Title: Back to Back in the Caribbean Summary: After four weeks in the Caribbean the islands do become quite similar but they each have their own charm. The sunshine is an obvious attraction both on the islands and on the ship. Although a large ship with many passengers it didn’t always feel crowded. The food, especially in the restaurants, was very good, and the service usually excellent. The Headliners were outstanding with the four pairs of boy and girl dancers showing off their...

Title: After the delay. Summary: Following a 23 hour delay at Gatwick courtesy of tui who decided to remove a part from our plane to fix an earlier flight. We had a wonderful holiday on Britannia. The captain Paul Brown ensured that despite the delay all ports in the itinerary were visited but not in the original order. The waiting and cleaning staff were amazing and a big thank you to Bhanu table 65 in the Oriental restaurant a true...

Title: A great time on Britannia Summary: Been with P & O for years now but this was our 1st cruise on Britannia. My sister had lost her husband months before and she was unsure as to whether she would come as a party of 6 down to 5. However we persuaded her to come and she had a balcony cabin next to ours. We all had a great time, loved the ship, weather was great in the Caribbean, and had good...

Title: Standards Slipped Summary: I have just completed my second cruise on Britannia. It is 3/4 years since I last sailed on her. I thought standards had slipped a lot. Towels were put on beds early in the morning & not removed when no one was using them. The balcony glass was not cleaned which used to be done regularly. I was disappointed a lot of the shows were the same. I think P&O just want to get as...

Title: Not our best cruise Summary: Although I have travelled on Britannia twice before and my partner once before, there was a different atmosphere on her this time. The ship has had a refit, but there are areas that could do with a good clean!! The Whitewall gallery has replaced the Blue Bar which I think was a shame, this area was a comfortable quiet area to talk and have a drink, now there is a bar overlooking the atrium, which...

Title: Caribbean January 2020 Summary: An enjoyable first cruise, both on P&O and to the Caribbean. Have to say the Captain was superb, fully explaining what was happening and why he was taking his decisions. These included missing one port because of a flight delay from the UK; an overnight high speed run to an unscheduled port due to a medical emergency and swapping a sea day/port day due to weather. The ship was very clean and comfortable. The food...

Title: great cruise BUT; Summary: WE did the Caribbean cruise from 03/01/20 to 18/1/20 Over all the cruise compared very well with the other 30ish cruises that we have don already We had the best cabin that we have ever had , the super deluxe on deck A . Title: Another fabulous holiday Summary: Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks cruising the Caribbean – had a delay, a diversion and a few entertainment changes due to windy weather but everything was dealt with efficiently and we were kept informed and didn’t spoil our trip at all. Food, service and cabin were all faultless with a crew who go out of there way to make your holiday a pleasure, and the entertainment team have so much energy to provide some memorable...

Title: Second time cruisers Summary: As a family of four, we had an amazing time on this ship. It’s our second cruise. The ship has everything we need including a fantastic kids club, where our children throughly enjoyed going to, they are two and three. We did two weeks around some of the Caribbean islands and could not fault it. Service really good, food exquisite and beautiful locations. Really happy with the ship and all who worked on it.

Title: Christmas in the Caribbean. Summary: So enjoyable. An amazing cruise. Lovely Christmas decorations adhorned the ship, warm friendly atmosphere from cruisers and staff. Christmas lunch very traditional and festive. Two New Year celebrations, one UK time, one ships time. All crew whatever their position were professional and courteous, Captain Robert Camby heads a happy ship. Just one small criticism the entertainment, at times less than average. Would I book Christmas on Britannia again? You bet I would, already done so.

Title: Christmas Cruise Summary: Very good atmosphere and Christmas Spirit Very nice ship airy and plenty of space to move about .Staffing in the restaurant especially at Christmas and New Year dinner needs better organisation. Excellent staff and friendly and helpful. Cruise very enjoyable but Tours limited in number of passengers for size of ship and some expensive for what they offer. Aruba Beach and sights on the decorated Bus not worth the visit for the price and time...

Title: Christmas and New Year cruise Summary: Having been on different cruise lines and ships (30+) cruises in all this was certainly as good as any of them. As mentioned in other reviews no central staircase is a pain and not being able to walk around the promenade deck is a shame but generally this ship is as good as others. We enjoyed this cruise the staff were helpful and good food and entertainment. In the buffet they have removed the trays...

Title: Christmas / New Year Cruise Summary: First time aboard Britannia. Our preference is smaller ships but did enjoy all that Britannia has to offer. We were very impressed with the dinning experience (both food and service) but frustrated that the wine waiter had so many tables to mange: he did not have the time to give, to manage the tables as he is so capable of providing excellent service (our first night we did not even get a drink). Disappointing was...

Title: Disappointing Christmas Summary: Disappointing Christmas and New Year cruise on Britannia. Food was very variable, particularly on formal nights, Christmas dinner was overcooked and New Year’s day the meat was incinerated. On our table of eight six meals were sent back on both days. Restaurant staff very good and friendly but bar staff generally quite miserable and in short supply in bars and cafes. Very surprised that hand hygiene was not being enforced in Horizon restaurant and it...

Title: Caribbean cruise 6th – 21st. December, 2019 Summary: All staff excellent, food always excellent, bathroom/shower room ridiculously small and the lack of stairs from Deck 8 up to all the decks above that level it is, our opinion, a very basic error. One of our party cannot use the lifts due to a very unpleasant previous experience and she, like others, was greatly inconvenienced as a result, having to walk to either end of the ship to find a stair route. Who, in...

Title: Britannia 933a Summary: Having been on the Azura 12 months before on a similar itinerary,we were expecting at least the same or slightly better,as we were on the flagship.sadly this wasnt the case, the stateroom and balcony were smaller, most of the staff were sullen, the service in the freedom dinning got worse from day 1,half way through our cruise, after sitting on a table of eight for 30 minutes, we still had not been given water and i had...
