Celebrity cruises advertise 5star cruising which I do not doubt on many of their ships but the Summit definitely not, We had booked full package from Celebrity flights from Aberdeen through to San Juan , we ended up in an overnight in Philidelphia in a hotel called four points by Sheaton at the airport, this was tops 3 star clean bed but that was all that was going for it On board the ship we...

We sailed with Celebrity for a cruise over New Year and once again we were not disappointed with the level of service. Ships passengers were all elderly which is contrary to what we were led to believe by Bolsover. At 10:00pm the ship...

The pool in the solarium was rusty and occasionally had brown scum on the surface. The main pool was icy cold and not well maintained. On the subject of age we have never seen so many zimmer frames, wheel chairs and mobility scooters. Disembarkation...

We chose the Celebrity Summit as it left from San Juan, Puerto Rico to go around the Caribbean. Most ships leave from Fort Lauderdale now and take two days to reach the islands. We had read that the ship had been modernised with things that the newer ships have, i.e. ice bar which doubles as the martini bar and where you can be amused by watching the barmen performing tricks of the trade, a coffee...
