Panama Canal CruiseByon 09 May 2019Princess Cruises | Coral Princess Reviews
Coral Princess ship is small but friendly, we loved the Decor, our only complaint would be about the other passengers, I was also unhappy with the medical centre, i had to go there twice at a cost of over $1000,they wanted to take my wife and my self off the ship with all our luggage and send us to a hospital in Panama City, this was before we got to the Panama canal which was...
UnimpressedByon 01 April 2019Princess Cruises | Coral Princess Reviews
Was impressed with the Coral Princess, she was a tired ship in need of a little TLC. There were 3 of us in the stateroom with one bed settee, which was very uncomfortable and the solution was an additional mattress, which was rolled up and kept in the stateroom during the day, along with 2 pieces of wood which supported the bed, very unsatisfactory, limiting the already cramped stateroom even more. The food onboard was...
dress codeByon 01 April 2019Princess Cruises | Coral Princess Reviews
Coral princess is a lovely medium size ship, the biggest bug bear for me is the dress code for the dinning rooms. On formal nights, you are told what is expected as regards to the dress code. As per normal the Americans, Canadians and Australians do not want to dress for dinner so it spoils it for the rest of the diners who do.. On this cruise which was to transit the panama canal, only...
Panama Canal Full TransitByon 01 April 2019Princess Cruises | Coral Princess Reviews
A great ship overall. Common areas in good order, but a few areas in cabin required attention, eg, hook missing on curtain, problem with door staying locked, stain on carpet. Plenty going on as far as organised activities, and good variety to suit everyone, but also lots of comfortable quiet areas to sit and read or look out to sea. Itinerary good, though not able to dock in Nicaragua due to rough seas. Panama Canal...
Enjoyable but flawed!Byon 25 February 2019Princess Cruises | Coral Princess Reviews
Overall an enjoyable cruise. Spoiled a little by the 4 hour delay to board (no apology and no plausible reason given), workmen on the ship throughout the cruise, 40 minute queue for anytime dining (resolved after we complained).
STANDARDS ARE SLIPPINGByon 20 November 2017Princess Cruises | Coral Princess Reviews
Have cruised many times with Princess. The ship is in desparate need of T.L.C. The food was VERY variable and suffered from an indulgent chef who “buries ” everything in complicated dressings to a point where the flavour of the main ingredient is lost. Service was very hit and miss – sometimes very good, often down right awful- staff did not care – no active menagement. Disembarkation was dreadful. In contrast embarkation was good. Horizon...
Alaska CruiseByon 30 May 2017Princess Cruises | Coral Princess Reviews
The experience of seeing the glaciers and experiencing the Alaskan landscape and heritage was very good. To catch the sight of a glacier crumbling in front of my eyes was both awe-inspiring and at the same time sad as this is being caused by the same people that were there viewing the spectacle. However, when it comes to looking at the ship and the service provided I felt that the ship could have been better...
Alaskan Land TourByon 07 June 2016Princess Cruises | Coral Princess Reviews
Whilst we enjoyed our tour of Alaska, the actual journey getting there was a bit frought!. We did eventually find our way to the right Doubletree Hotel but the instructions were a bit vague when you aren’t used to the airport. There were 8 of us Brits doing this land tour first but during our travels within Alaska (which were very well organised) we were all on different coaches which was a shame. And of...
Alaska CruiseByon 04 June 2015Princess Cruises | Coral Princess Reviews
It was an amazing holiday. Couldn`t fault anything! The staff were always friendly and the ship was spotlessly clean. Our cabin was always cleaned to perfection. It was our second trip with Princess Cruises and they would be our first choice in the future.
ExperienceByon 09 May 2015Princess Cruises | Coral Princess Reviews
Princess came good again on our recent trip from Fort Lauderdale to Vancouver via the Panama Canal, cannot praise the crew enough and as for the entertainment it was second to none.
Coral PrincessByon 02 June 2013Princess Cruises | Coral Princess Reviews
We have just returned from cruising Miami to Vancouver via the Panama Canal – 18 days. It was our sixteenth cruise with Princess and one of our best. It is a well appointed little ship (about 2000 passengers) crewed with some of the most attentive personnel we have ever met on a ship. The crew prided themselves on being Princess’s most coveted ship where service is concerned, and they earned it – well done. Miami...
Sales pitchByon 01 March 2013Princess Cruises | Coral Princess Reviews
This was our second cruise through Panama (first with Princess) and it lived up to expectations except for one thing — the relentless plugging of their new boat. By the time we completed the cruise I didn’t want to hear another word about Royal Princess. Every activity in the theatre was preceded by the same “trailer” it really started to grate after the first few times. Otherwise the cruise was good.
