Crystal Symphony provided a very enjoyable holiday. The outstanding points were the shows each evening except for two, the Cinema, the lectures, the library and the variety of places to eat. Food was good but not exceptional and the service was generally ok. The Ports of call and tours provided a brief and interesting insight of southern Africa.

Ship is fine, cabins a bit smaller than other ships but the bathroom is larger than normal. Can’t fault the crew/staff who generally will be smiling and helpful. Food was superb. Embarkation on arrival plus going ashore for trips etc is really well organised. Sadly, the entertainment is a bit lacking and (maybe because I was in a different place e wry day) there isn’t muchbgoingnonnin e daytime… Unless you like bridge and knitting. Ship...

Check in was really easy, someone to meet you as you got out of the taxi they guided you through to the checkin staff inside seamless, inside the purpose built cruise terminal which itself was pleasant and spacious. My cabin was excellent inc a fully stocked fridge, tv with dvd player (films available from the ship library) bathroom has twin sinks with everything provided inc bathrobes slippers & toiletries The main resturant food was excellent...
