Disappointed with Oceania Cruises

Not much going on for solo travellers – cocktail meet up on first night, followed by one hosted lunch & dinner. Felt like the ship was taken over by 250 plastic surgeons & wives due to a business convention that was held on Marina – Bolsover could have done more to check this out – had trouble with reservations would not accept debit cards & then was difficult about accepting Scottish pounds even though they...

The Marina really is a beautiful ship. I love the size as its not to large and impersonal. You cannot fault the service of the staff, they’re always on hand and are very professional, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The food is amazing and anything you want can be arranged. We were told by our agent to pre book the speciality dining rooms (avail at no extra charge) on line beforehand and this...

lovely ship , excellent cabin and itinerary Staff uniformly excellent real plus points are the specialist restaurants Main dining room large ,really quite in impersonal and less atmosphere We encountered poor service here on occasions and especially slow action by wine waiters . We like to have a drink as we choose our menu sometimes at the table rather than in the bars. Good shows but too early for late diners like us our problem...

Entertainment Director was probably the best we have seen such a lovely man. We have cruised for many years on different lines and have to say Oceania were outstanding also the food was amazing.

Fantastic First Cruise

We would highly recommend this trip and this Company. Service, comfort and value exceeded our expectations. The destinations, with perhaps the exception of Klaipedia in Liithuania, were interesting and accessible. Free shuttles were available in all Ports except St Petersburg, where, due to Visa requirements, most passengers used excursion Companies, either through the ship or independently. We only used the Shuttle Bus in Helsinki, as in all other ports of call we were easily able...

My wife and I have just returned from a 28 day back to back, grand voyage on Marina from Papeete in Tahiti, French Polynesia and it was a really fantastic experience from all points of view. It’s a long way to Tahiti via Los Angeles but well worth it. It was our second cruise on Marina, and it was just as good as the first one around the Eastern Mediterranean. The ship carries about 1200...
