Antarctic stunnerByon 02 January 2019Holland America Line | MS Zaandam Reviews
The ship sailed from Buenos Aires to San Antonio Santiago via Cape Horn. We were blessed with amazing weather calm and fairly warm. We were able to get to the Falklands and around Cape Horn without any rough seas. It’s a small ship but very compact. Food was excellent. Choice in the main restaurant and lido was fantastic. Afternoon teas with silver service was a bonus. The onboard cruise /port information was very good. Getting...
First Time with Holland AmericaByon 14 March 2018Holland America Line | MS Zaandam Reviews
We recently travelled on the Zaandam from Buenos Aires to Rio and back again on the ‘Colours of Brazil’ cruise. Overall it could not be faulted; the food, staff, entertainment and deck facilities were superb. Our only criticisms were that dress code in the restaurant was poorly implemented and many passengers had no idea what was meant by the phrase ‘smart casual’ and the stateroom including the bathroom although immaculately clean was dated and in...
7 Day Southbound Glacier Discovery CruiseByon 26 September 2017Holland America Line | MS Zaandam Reviews

We also had fine weather throughout the cruise, which is unusual for Alaska,...
WowByon 15 December 2015Holland America Line | MS Zaandam Reviews
The ship was ok. Not fantastic and quite old. Friendly and small. The trip was a definite wow. Scenery to die for. Cities to wander. People to meet. Chile was vibrant and friendly with plenty to see. Argentina was wonderful. The cities are great. We are both past the retirement age but we loved it. So much to see and very different from a normal scenic holiday.

Organisation of trip was was excellent. Air France from birmingham to Paris to Santiago went smoothly.over night hotel was excellent . Transfer to cruise ship was good. Organization on the boat & the attention of all staff was superb. Food was great. The only down side was the cost & the content of some of the tours, some of which were very lacking in content & very waste of time. Over all the scenery in...
