Title: Greek Isles On Oceana Summary: We recently returned from a week on Oceana. We visited 5 different ports on our 7 night cruise. We stayed in a balcony cabin on C deck which was fairly midships. The cabin itself was very clean & our cabin steward couldn’t do enough for us. Food on board was fantastic as it is on all P&O ships. We did dine in the Beach house one evening which was incredible. Can not recommend this highly...

Title: Malta 17 days Summary: Excellent ports of call although sadly we had to miss a port due to staying longer in Venice. We visited on a Sunday and the city was crammed making it almost impossible to walk around comfortably. The ship itself is getting old and should be replaced. The lifts were slow and there seemed to be a lot of maintenance work being carried out on them. The communal areas in particular the theatre and atrium were...

Title: Excellent cruise itinerary but poor bathrooms Summary: This is our second cruise on Oceana, chosen for the itinerary. The ship has undergone a refurbishment since we were on her and it has definitely improved. However the bathroom and balcony is a nonsense. Someone who can do something about it should try using the bathroom!! The lifts are also showing their age, extremely slow and arthritic. Food however is much improved and hygiene standards impressive. Organisation from landing at malta airport to arriving...

Title: Brilliant Holiday Summary: Another wonderful holiday with P&O, Oceana. The organisation is second to none. You take your luggage to your chosen airport and don’t see it again until in your cabin and vice versa. The food is great with plenty of choice. The Headliners are absolutely brilliant where they get there energy from!!!. We had some really good entertainers. The service in the restaurants was exceptional, didn’t notice any difference having got rid of the tips.

Title: Extremely disappointed Summary: This cruise was booked in 2018. Our first time on this ship. First shock was the size of the stateroom (smaller than usual) but the main disgust was directed against the size of the shower/toilet facility. No room to swing a cat! Another surprise was to find that cruise lengths were staggered so there was a big changeover each week with new arrivals of guests staying for one week only etc. The food and service...

Title: a little disappointed Summary: Noticed a few areas where we were a little disappointed. sometimes had a long wait to even see a waiter in atrium for coffee, let alone get served. Also one night in restaurant, freedom dining waited 3/4 of an hour to get order taken, let alone food. Have noticed that now tips not paid the service has definately gone down. Personally would sooner give tips, it encourages better service. Went in spa twice, first time...

Title: 15 Night Mediterranean Cruise Summary: Just come back from a 15 night Med Cruise on the Oceana departing from Malta. The ports we went to were amazing, if a little busy especially Santorini, which was so busy you could not move in the streets of Oia (The lovely village in all the photos of this island) or Thera, where the cruise ships dock. There was only one other cruise ship in that day besides us. But we were told that...

Title: As good as ever Summary: 6th cruise on Oceana in last 10 years. She is definitely looking her age but that didn’t stop us from having a good 14 days on her last month. Borrowed a wheelchair for my wife on first day from reception and this helped us on shore visits. Itinery was good both on board and shore. Plenty to do. Food as usual was brilliant and we chose freedom dining for a change as there were 3...

Title: First Cruise Summary: This was our first cruise. The main areas of the ship were very good, well presented, clean and tidy. Our cabin with balcony was small but comfortable and well looked after. The bathroom was very small and tired it could do with a make over. The food was first class as was the service most of the time. One draw back was the constant fight to get a cup of tea or refill, why not...

Title: Nightmare ‘Freedom’ Dining Summary: Oceana is a nice sized ship but getting a little tired now, will she be the next to go? We (three off us) had opted for Freedom Dining for the first time, before we have always gone for second sitting with P&O or Grills on Cunard; it was a total nightmare. No matter what time we went to dinner we were presented with a bleeper, then had up to an hour’s wait for a table....

Title: No where to relax away from very loud music!!!! Summary: We enjoyed the holiday from the point of view of the places we visited, but the whole experience was spoiled for us as there was nowhere to relax (on sun beds ) on the ship in a shaded area without having to put up with very loud music. We have been on numerous cruises in the past and have always looked forward to the days at sea when we could find a sun bed on...

Title: Disapointing Summary: Too many extra charges, no quiet places to sunbathe. Summary: Food and entertainment excellent. No need for steward to go into cabin twice daily. Not necessary to change towels twice daily. Too noisy on deck. Prefer a little peace and quiet to sunbathe.

Title: Can’t beleive this is a P&O ship! Summary: The food standards on this ship are comparable to school dinners and we have been on many ships before over the last 20 years. Could not fault Brittania in Sept last year for food choices quality and service. Oceana today is a disgrace to the name of P&O. The standards have fallen so far I could not consider another cruise with P&O just in case they had also fallen. The staff on this ship do...

Title: Oceana 5 September 2019 Summary: I enjoyed my second cruise on Oceana, but must say I noticed a great difference in the service in the restaurant this time. It took up to two hours to be served each night, which resulted in us missing the show on several occasions. The food was excellent as usual once it came. I can’t praise our cabin steward Clifford enough, he looked after us very well. I did think that some of the other...

Title: Oceana Summary: Oceana our favourite ship, Bolsover brilliant agents. Amazing Greek islands. A few rude passengers in the buffet at breakfast and lunch, but that is not P&O s fault. Entertainment top class. Bit upset that someone was able to wear shorts in the restaurant, especially as part of our holiday is dressing up. Cannot fault the service in any way

Title: Excellent cruise Summary: We took a two week Mediterranean cruise after flying to Malta. It was our first cruise and we found it a wonderful experience. The courtesy, efficiency and thoroughness of the P&O staff was very impressive. Oceana was a beautiful ship – comfortable, full of interest and plenty of space. The food and restaurant service was excellent. Much of the entertainment was also very good. We enjoyed all the places we visited, and the excursions were...

Title: A bit disappointing. Summary: We chose this cruise for its destinations and were very happy with the trips. However, Oceana was disappointing. The cabin staff were excellent but the dining room service was slow and appeared to be understaffed. We booked too late to get freedom dining and asked for 8.30 sitting for two. We were allocated a table for six and were told that the other diners were our age group! There was a long queue of people...

Title: What is required ? Summary: Great itinerary and the food was very nice. Services in the restaurants wasn’t what we have become to expect and this is due to less staff on the floor and staff are rushed off there feet, evening meal took over 3hours on two occasions which lead to us missing the entertainment. Cabin steward did basic cleaning in the room but left smeared mirrors, crumpled bed sheets and once again no personal tough. We received terrible...

Title: First. Fly Cruise Summary: Wonderful food as usual from P&O. Entertainment best we have seen on P&O. We had a larger outside cabin. Prefered it to a balcony cabin. The only thing that would stop me taking a fly cruise again was the luggage. We had to get our cases from baggage reclaim. Then lug them about 500 yards to the waiting coaches . Plenty of P&O tee shirts directing to coaches but no help with cases. Trollies available...
