Title: Made the best of bad weather Summary: On joining we were delayed and the port was not well organised, I do hope the cruise line learnt from that. The weather for the whole cruise was abysmal and disrupted the planned cruise. P & O rescheduled and, I am sure, did the best to entertain, get people to other destinations and make the most of some very testing conditions. P & O will still be our 1st choice of operator.

Title: Oceana rides the waves Summary: Oceana and Storm Dennis. We boarded late due to the late arrival due to the disgustingly bad weather all around. We were kept properly informed by P&O and boarded easily and quickly because we kept to our time. Life on board was as good as ever. The food was absolutely definitely on top form and miles better than on other voyages. Our cabin was beautifully clean and Storm Dennis rocked us to sleep. We ended...

Title: Our experience Summary: A very enjoyable holiday. Disappointed that The Headliners did not do more shows and that they did not do many of the sail aways, or did we miss something. Also disappointed with the topics of the Guest Speaker, at our age, which looking around, must have been late 50’s 60’s plus, do we really need a life coach. We would have much preferred a speaker from The Animal, History or Crime World. Enjoyed The 4...

Title: Excellent Summary: We really enjoyed our cruise around europe even though the weather was horrendous. We were following storm Dennis around and it did not make things easy for the captain. He was amazing in the decisions he had to make and sadly we missed our visit to Bruge, but we all know safety comes first and it is lot of passengers lives depending on the decisions he had to make. Yes,people were moaning, but don,t they always. As...

The ship was in good condition and our stateroom although an inside was more than adequate for our needs, our cabin steward was superb could not do enough for us we were on B DECK B631 which was near the stern of...

Title: Oceana January/February 2020 Summary: Overall a good experience. Food was excellent, waiters very helpful. Cabin Steward did well and kept up the usual high standards. Enjoyed the lectures. But … 1. They have stopped the celebraxtion of birthdays/ anniversaries. Many people go on cruises to celebrate their birthday/ anniversary. Every body loves to join in the singing. 2. What Happened to the Parade of the Chefs? A happy event enjoyed by everyone and they deserve their five minutes of...

Title: Total Satisfaction Summary: Following a disastrous cruise on Adonia in the Caribbean about 10 years ago I decided not to cruise with P and O in the future. However, I decided to take this Spain and Portugal cruise on board Oceana one of the Sun class vessels. My experience on this occasion was excellent. Oceana was very comfortable and welcoming. Staff were particularly friendly and eager to ensure the cruise experience was satisfactory. Food whilst not haute cuisine...

Title: Wonderful oceana!! Summary: Just arrived home from a fantastic 14 day cruise on this superb ship to Spain & Portugal. We have been countless cruises over the past few years mainly on Princess & cunard. The oceana beats them all. P & o have pulled all the stops out to create a fantastic ship. Cannot fault staff, entertainment & the food which was far superior to cunard, definitely Michelin standard!! Just as good, if not better than the...

Title: Canary Islands – Oceana Summary: This wasn’t my first time onboard the beautiful Oceana and it certainly won’t be my last! The holiday was fantastic from embarkation to the unfortunate event that is disembarkation! We found the ship was in great condition – the atrium, in our opinion, is the best of the fleet. It really is beautiful. The food onboard was probably the best I’ve had at sea and the staff were phenomenal – they really couldn’t do enough...

Title: Oceana Summary: A lovely ship second time on her, the food, service and shows were excellent, first time sailing from Southampton with 3 sea days straight off, there was plenty to do if you like quizes or dancing but not much else going on until the evening. Loved Madeira and the Canaries will definitely do the trip again at some point but maybe a bigger ship.

Title: Fabulous crew & captain Summary: We had a lovely cruise to the Canaries, Lisbon & Cadiz to get some winter sunshine. The crew, service and food were superb, nothing was too much trouble. The cabin steward and reception staff were the best we have had on any cruise. However, although a Oceana has a lovely atrium she is lacking in the facilities that we enjoy. No Andersons, Glass House, Sindhu or Crows Nest, all of which we love so we...

Title: Enjoyable cruise, but ship a bit dated. Summary: Cruised the Canaries before, but Cadiz was a welcome new destination for me. That and Lisbon much better than the islands. Oceana feels a bit worn out: regular lifts / toilets out of action, one area totally cordoned off, and generally a bit tatty, although as clean as can be expected. Entertainment was excellent, even though many of the acts/shows I’ve seen before. Food was perhaps a little underwhelming compared to P&O norms. Maybe my...

Title: Relaxing and was as expected Summary: We attended most shows and found most very good or excellent. I listened to a series of talks by Carol Phillips a retired senior ranking police iffcer about her career and the current state of the police service. The talks were brilliant. We played a lot of bridge, (card game) and that activity made the cruise. 2 small adverse criticisms. The orange juice in the buffet was withdrawn at 12noon daily. Annoying! ….and On shore...

Title: Christmas Cruise Summary: Congratulations to P&O & the crew of Oceana for an excellent Christmas Cruise. On boarding the ship certainly had the wow factor as you entered the Atrium with the superb Christmas Decorations. The crew did well to deal with the 4 hour late arrival from the previous cruise and the Norovirus outbreak about two thirds of the way through. Our first Christmas Cruise in 25 years of cruising proved very enjoyable

Title: Dismissal, Disappointed, Worst Cruise ever Summary: Embarkation was quick, after that….cleanliness of the ship wasn’t great, hence outbreak of Norovirus, so not the best xmas present. Since last travelling on Oceana we noticed hygiene around the ship had declined. The service in restaurants wasn’t the best, poor food quality, crew members appeared miserable they built no rapport with guests. The main Customer Service desk to report any issues was a complete joke. The drinks package on offer could be improved by...
