Queen Elizabeth launched in 2010, christened by Her Majesty the Queen, becoming the newest luxury liner in the Cunard fleet. Recalling the rich heritage of the first Cunarder to bear her name, Queen Elizabeth’s elegance and modern features have won her many accolades, retaining the essence of the Cunard brand whilst taking the creator of ‘the most famous ocean liner in the world’ firmly into the future.

Drinks
By ROLAND DOTCHIN on 29 October 2018
Cunard Line | Queen Elizabeth Reviews

Queen Elizabeth 1st October 2018 15 nights canaries, great cruise, food, service, ports. Had on board spends luckily, as drinks prices plus 15% gratuities each time you buy drinks were frightening. Think I am right in saying that, goods on ships at sea are duty-free, so Cunard has the wrong policy in overcharging, the range of goods in retail shops was unattractive and overpriced. All the cruise companies should consider abandoning the outdated gratuities system,...

Absolutely horrendous noise in this cabin . Every time the ship docked the noise was unbelievable, from 4.30 am until the ship docked . Never again if this is how Cunard treat platinum members

Disappointing cuisine.
By K and R Marks on 23 October 2018
Cunard Line | Queen Elizabeth Reviews

Last with Cunard 2011. Huge decrease in the standard of cooking and presentation. Cold hot food, warm ice cream and cheesecake, often overcooked meats and raw (not al dente) veg. Oh dear. What went wrong in the galley?

Short break to Guernsey
By Richard Whiting on 09 October 2018
Cunard Line | Queen Elizabeth Reviews

Enjoyed the cruise, arrived in Guernsey on the Sunday after a cruise around the channel, many of the shops were closed, why didn’t we arrive on Saturday? Had to get tech staff to cure the irritating noise coming from the a/c unit, which kept me awake! The insulating material had appeared to have been removed but not replaced! I was surprised at the very high cost of the wines $48-€55 We have always discussed the...

Great Cruise shame about the noise
By Nigel Smith on 05 October 2018
Cunard Line | Queen Elizabeth Reviews

The cruise was very good we had some great destinations and the weather was glorious all cruise. Inside Queen Elizabeth is a wonderful ship, only the odd rust spots and unfinished paint jobs made some areas look a bit shabby, and they were always doing work around deck 10 which meant we could not walk around the ship. The staff were brilliant and could not do enough for you, as normal with Cunard the drink...

Top quality cruise
By john reed on 01 October 2018
Cunard Line | Queen Elizabeth Reviews

Queen Elizabeth is a beautiful well kept ship. Service was excellent. The food served was quality rather than quantity. Anybody who wanted to eat excess could go to the Lido restaurant where there was a good self-serve selection. We opted to have breakfasts and dinner in the main dining room, service and quality were always excellent. Entertainment was very good, but the guest speakers were fantastic. Angela Dillon gave a talk about her life-to-date. Very...

Voyage No.Q825
By Mr & Mrs Chambers on 21 September 2018
Cunard Line | Queen Elizabeth Reviews

Having sailed with Queen Elizabeth three times, and QV, and QM2 and many with P&O, we are now put off greatly with cruising, our 17 days on your ship was the worst cruise we have ever done. Food was absolutely dreadful counted only three meals enjoyable. Buffet food was the same food each day, entertainment dreadful, many people complaining, we would never go on this ship again. One thing you should correct is your front cover...

My cruise to Venice and Croatia
By john hudson on 21 September 2018
Cunard Line | Queen Elizabeth Reviews

Queen Elizabeth is due for a refit shortly and externally that is beginning to show. Entertainment variety needs some work, same acts and shows keep appearing Stateroom excellent apart from the unpleasant smell in the afternoon when in port, butler knew about it. Otherwise excellent, impeccable service especially in the restaurant and excellent food,

Baltic Cruise July August 2018
By Chris Thompson on 20 August 2018
Cunard Line | Queen Elizabeth Reviews

Queen Elizabeth was excellent in every respect. Due for refurb in November, to be fair only slight issues with main thoroughfare carpets, tables worn and the sofa in our stateroom needed reupholstering. Sailing again in Jan, looking forward to seeing what has been done. All staff superb, particularly waiting staff in Britannia restaurant (Ryan and Moises). Lido buffet always amazing. Loved the heated outdoor pools. Spa and gym good standard. Entertainment was most enjoyable, several...

Disappointing
By Ann Hazell on 20 August 2018
Cunard Line | Queen Elizabeth Reviews

We found the food in the dining room not as good as on previous cruises quantity, variety, quality not up to standard. Food in the Lido better. Drinks and excursions extremely expensive, entertainment certainly not great. Although I do not like comparisons as my daughter and myself thought in all areas P & O come tops in all area.

Disappointing
By Ian Bailey on 17 August 2018
Cunard Line | Queen Elizabeth Reviews

Having cruised several times on all three Queens we were disappointed at the downward slide of some aspects of this ship. It looked tired externally, looking in need of a good paint. Stateroom cleanliness and service excellent but balcony dirty. Britannia dining average with slow service, never less than two hours per evening meal. The organisation of some shore trips poor and slow, particularly bus transfers. Exorbitant prices for restaurant wine (36 dollars for a...

Ruby Wedding Trip. 10-24 May 2018 Baltic Trip

Wonderful experience overall. Very luxurious. A few things let them down though. Sales staff in perfume/jewellery shop very disinterested and surly with no knowledge of stock. Lido food was poor: kept warm for a long time presentation and some dishes were empty with no one around topping them up. Dance troupe very amateurish.

Queen Elizabeth – Cape Town to Southampton
By Keith on 17 May 2018
Cunard Line | Queen Elizabeth Reviews

Queen Elizabeth was as good as in the past we had a nice Cabin but Overhang on our Balcony on Deck 8 obstructed the sun at times, also we booked in Club Dining Room, as it was open dining,& at a table for two hoping that the adjoining tables would be occupied, but the one set came in very early & the other did not come infrequently so we were often isolated in the dining...

Super Comfy Ship
By David Rock on 13 February 2018
Cunard Line | Queen Elizabeth Reviews

We’ve just completed a 29 day cruise on the QE from Southampton through the Panama Canal and on to San Francisco. The ship is truly beautiful and comfortable. There is ample room in the well appointed theater so that we never struggled to get a seat, even if we showed up 2 minutes before curtain time. The many public rooms are the ultimate in comfort with more than enough plush, easy chairs and lots of...

A beautiful boat inside and out. Fantastic service and very good food. Missed some activities/ lectures because of clashing times which usually happened in the mornings. Very good lectures and excellent shows. Very disappointed with the trip we booked in Fort Lauderdale. Many people complained and we did get a fifty percent refund but we would rather have had a great trip. We were happy with our other trips. The Panama Canal was so interesting...

Christmas/New Year Cruise with Cunard
By Andrew Lewis on 17 January 2018
Cunard Line | Queen Elizabeth Reviews

If this cruise with Cunard had been our first we would never have cruised again. Food in Britannia Restaurant was, at best, lukewarm and often cold. The alternative dining options on Queen Elizabeth were very poor and expensive compared to other cruise lines. Price for drinks was extortionate, which probably explained why the bars were empty by 9.30pm. Entertainment was drab in the theatre and almost non existent everywhere else on the ship. As the...

Christmas Cruise

Cunard Line | Queen Elizabeth Reviews

First time I have embarked on a Christmas cruise and must admit that it was quite enjoyable. The ship had been decorated for the occasion and really looked the part. As usual the food was excellent and the only “moan” was the price of the drinks ….. but I suppose that I expected that. Cunard and others should make the effort to reduce these drinks prices.

We were disappointed with activities, speakers and entertainment. Fortunately the weather was good on port days and the Canaries were good and, of course, Madeira was wonderful. We did not think the food in Britannia restaurant was anything special so for the first time on our many cruises we ended up eating in the Lido restaurant where the food was very good. This was for the evening meal. Most lunches we had room service and...
