Cunard Line Ship Review Queen Elizabeth Reviews

Queen Elizabeth launched in 2010, christened by Her Majesty the Queen, becoming the newest luxury liner in the Cunard fleet. Recalling the rich heritage of the first Cunarder to bear her name, Queen Elizabeth’s elegance and modern features have won her many accolades, retaining the essence of the Cunard brand whilst taking the creator of ‘the most famous ocean liner in the world’ firmly into the future.

Excellent BA flight to Athens and fair transfer to ship.Shocked to find no kettle in lovely cabin, apparently you are expected to ask for cabin service each and every time you fancy a cuppa.I quickly found a senior steward and explained that we Brits do expect such a basic amenity and have no wish to wait until room service can find a moment to deliver.A kettle was duly provided! The cabin with balcony was excellent and food...

Our first cruise aboard the lovely Queen Elizabeth was to the Baltic and we loved every minute. The ship is beautiful, the cabins comfortable, the service impeccable and the food outstanding. We love the ethos aboard a Cunard vessel having sailed on QE2 and QM2 loving the traditional feel.We particularly enjoy Afternoon Tea in the Queens Room, the silver service accompanied by a harpist, pianist or perhaps a String Quartet. The talks are always excellent and varied.We...

Tried Cunard for the 1st time after many cruises with P&O, Princess, & Thompson. The ship is great – layout, lovely decor, historical pictures, models of ships, etc. Food was very good and possibly slightly better than other lines mentioned above – but only just. Entertainment not particularly good, especially when compared to Thompson Cruises. However, Cunard did have some good films to watch in their magnificent theater. Overall, a great experience and if the...

Cunard Line | Queen Elizabeth Reviews

We had a wonderful cruise, made special by being in a AA club balcony cabin, enabling us to eat at times to suit us, without the cost of the grills suites. Service was friendly, and efficient from all crew, and wonderful service from Emmanuel and Dennis our waiters in the dining room. Ditno our cabin steward greeted us on arrival, supplied us with extra pillows, and our cabin was always cleaned on our return from breakfast....

Cunard Line | Queen Elizabeth Reviews

This is our second full world cruise on Queen Elizabeth and we were not disappointed. The stateroom (not cabin!) was adequate and the bed the most comfortable ever slept in. The balcony on deck 4 is larger than higher ones, though we had a metal front, which did not detract from our enjoyment of the outside space. The food was excellent. The menus were repeated slightly too often, but we only ate in the Britannia...

Cunard Line | Queen Elizabeth Reviews

We had cruised about 9 times previously, mostly with P&O but also twice with Fred Olsen. We were booked on a 5 night cruise from Southampton with an overnight stay in Amsterdam and then visiting Zeebrugge and Le Harvre. Queen Elizabeth, like Queen Victoria, is a beautiful, elegant ship. We had lunched on Queen Victoria although not cruised, so we did know more or less what the layout of Queen Elizabeth would be. We have...
