It has to be said, from the start, that this ship did not measure up in most ways to our idea of a really good cruise. I had wheelchair assistance to go through embarkation and was pleased to be taken right on to the ship. However, as we went up the gangway and were just about to enter the ship we were confronted by a member of staff trying to sell us a drinks package....

Had a fabulous time…..meeting lovely people, crew, staff and fabulous entertainment. Nothing was too much for our room steward. The trips around Australia were incredible too. All in all a wonderful holiday. Amazing! Wow! What can we say! Our very first cruise

Although we picked this cruise because of the destinations it offered, which we enjoyed, we didn`t particularly enjoy the on board experience. Having cruised before we were, of course, used to the fact that the cruise company like you to buy as many of their products as possible, but we both felt that Royal Caribbean`s hard sells made us feel more like captive sales targets rather than holiday guests, which detracted from the cruise experience....

We fould the staff very friendly and the range of entertainment suitably varied, making the trip enjoyable. We preferred the restaurant to the buffet for both morning and evening meals as the quality and service were first class. The ‘Windjammer’ hot food could be a little below an ideal temperature.
