This was the first time we travelled with Regent. Before we went it seemed expensive, but on return it was reasonable value for money. There were many included trips to choose from, equally good, if not better than trips we paid for on other lines. The ship was well maintained, and the staff all friendly and helpful without being too obtrusive. The food was excellent, although we felt the portions all too large which made...

We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise on board the Seven Seas Mariner. A little disappointed that our luggage was not delivered to our cabin for some considerable time after we had joined the ship but delighted to find a walk in wardrobe to put the clothes in when it did finally arrive. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and our Concierge cabin was quite spacious if a little dated. Plenty of fluffy white towels and good toiletries regularly...

Mariner review on Mediterranean Cruise

Up to its usual standatd, this cruise was enhanced a million times by Regent offering us an UPGRADE to HORIZON SUITE for a measly 200 pounds extra each!! This suite would have cost upwards of 7000 pounds each!! The Butler was very nice and attended to our every need – Strongbow replenished daily, Cointreau glass cleaned etc. !! Can’t fault this cruise line – EVERYTHING INCLUDED, and I mean EVERYTHING! If you want six star...

This was our second cruise on Mariner and if anything it was better than the first. It is hard to think of anything that could be improved. The service, helpfulness of staff and food are excellent. Entertainment was first class, as good as might be seen in London. Excursions are very good and well organised. Not cheap but overall value for money. Would definately go again.

The ship was gorgeous and the food brilliant. The service was also excellent. Some of the excursions weren’t brilliant – too much sitting in coaches and going a long way to see not much. Would have been better to find something nearer to the ship and include some walking. We did not enjoy most of the entertainment onboard. The lectures were very good, but the evening shows were not our cup of tea. We would...

It was our first cruise with Seven Seas but really hope it won’t be our last. The ship, the staff, the food are all fantastic. We only went to see one show but again the quality was outstanding and we cannot praise the cruise and the all involved highly enough.

We were five nights into our cruise when we had a phone call from home with news tat our Son had died, suddenly, in his sleep . We contacted the ship’ s concierge who called the Agent in Trabzon wher we had docked. He came aboard, took my husband with him to travel agent in town and got us flights. He collected us from ship in evening before she sailed to next port, took us...

Ship with a Few Problems
By Sally Collins on 27 May 2014
Regent Seven Seas Cruises | Seven Seas Mariner Reviews

We recently cruised from Istanbul to Athens taking in Rhodes, Crete, Les Bos, Mykonos. The weather was a little indifferent and I would not recommend Les Bos as a destination. The ship had recently had a refit but the Horizon Lounge, although beautifully furnished and decorated, it was so cold you could not comfortably sit in and enjoy a pre dinner drink. The Observation Lounge had also been refitted but the lighting was so bright...

I met my two brothers who live abroad for a family holiday on board the Seven Seas Mariner, Rome to Istanbul and we all had a great time! The ship looked amazing and in view of the fact we all have individual tastes and requirements Regent impressed us all with the superb food and friendly atmosphere. Our other fellow passengers were very interesting company and so enhanced the fun and enjoyment. The theatre entertainment was...

Cruise ship fabulous – excursions?
By Roger Houghton on 19 May 2014
Regent Seven Seas Cruises | Seven Seas Mariner Reviews

The ship Seven Seas Mariner had just completed a top-to-toe refurbishment, and it was even better than the last two times we have been on it. It is very difficult to fault the ship in any way! Service is exemplary, food is wonderful, every need is catered for, including our choice of drinks in the cabin. We were looked after really well by the Steward, Ketut, or “King Tut” as I decided he should be...

Superb experience on Mariner

Just come off Mariner’s Rome to Istanbul sailing and had a great time. Food was outstanding, in all restaurants not just Prime 7 & Signatures. The Mariners refurbishment has worked wonders, I especially liked the Horizon Lounge & Observation Lounge. I like the size of the ship, with plenty of facilities and things going on, whilst easy to get away and find quiet spaces to relax in. Service was outstanding, especially my steward, Ali, who...

Our first cruise with Regent so we were very excited about joining such a prestigious ship and we weren’t disappointed. Not only is the ship beautiful in every way but the cuisine, attention to detail and service are the best we have experienced (and we have quite a bit of that.) The most exhausting part of our holiday was the start of it by having to travel from Quorn to Gatwick at the unearthly starting...

No complaints about the ship, however our pre cruise stop at Rio De Janeiro spoilt the whole holiday. The Rio Sheraton hotel was terrible. It was in a state of refurbishment prior to the World cup. 1) The air conditioning in our room dripped condensation onto the floor. 2) We had no hot water for two days. When it was eventually fixed we got barely warm water. 3)The room Iron didn’t work. Had to be...

Definitely not 6*

Regent Seven Seas Cruises | Seven Seas Mariner Reviews

My wife and I just returned from Honeymoon having sailed on the Regent Mariner. We have been lucky enough to have sailed 3 times with Seabourn, whose newer ships are truly fantastic and rightly earn the acclaim they get as being 6*. I was persuaded by my Bolsover agent that Regent were every bit as good and as the dates were more convenient we booked the Regent Navigator for our honeymoon. Tired, dated, carpets filthy...

The ship was looking a bit tired the cabin furniture could do withe a upgrade. The carpets in the corridors need replacing .The toilets on the pool deck bow only had one out of three appliances working the toilets on the pool deck stern kept blocking up. All the staff on the ship where incredible the best service we have received on any cruises . The food was also some of the best we have...

STILL EXCELLENT

Regent Seven Seas Cruises | Seven Seas Mariner Reviews

My wife and I have just returned from yet another cruise on Seven Seas Mariner and it is hard to find any fault with this ship. After some thought the only adverse thing I can say about this ship is that on one morning breakfast in the Compass Rose restaurant was slow, also the carpets in the corridors need replacing, but these are mere quibbles, as overall the attention a service could not be bettered....
