Anytime Dining Menu not so goodByon 14 February 2019Princess Cruises | Star Princess Reviews
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our cruise but some night’s we struggled with the content of the menu in the anytime dining restaurant, also if it said pie that was exactly what you got nothing else but the Horizon buffet was fine great selection of everything. Wine was a bit expensive probably upwards of £7 for a medium sized glass & then there wasn’t much choice ‘by the glass’. Also could have done with a variety...
Hawaii IslandsByon 28 November 2018Princess Cruises | Star Princess Reviews
Old ship in need of refurbishment. Very expensive drinks, food not as good as previous (they seem to be using cheaper foods and not much choice or variety). Very pricy tours. Hawaii was good but not rushing back.
Rocky Mountaineer and Alaska cruise.Byon 04 July 2017Princess Cruises | Star Princess Reviews
Really enjoyed our Alaskan cruise on the Star Princess, good food and facilities, excellent service throughout the ship. Well organised embarkation and disembarkation at the start and end of the cruise and for the various excursions. Would recommend a trip to Alaska, (not necessarily with Princess, read on please) beautiful scenery from minute one. On board entertainment was superb. Rocky Mountaineer and Canada element of the trip was very nice, a shame that there was...
Alaska cruiseByon 10 June 2016Princess Cruises | Star Princess Reviews
The cruise itself was wonderful, the destinations superb, unfortunatly the Star Princess was not upto the standard we expected. The food in the dining room was substandard and we paid for select dining in the Grill Bar and were very disappointed with the presentation of the food and also the quality. The staff we came into contact with were all very pleasant and helpful. Embarking the ship in Vancouver was a farce and it took...
Cruise round South AmericaByon 09 February 2016Princess Cruises | Star Princess Reviews
Cruise was first rate and even exceeded our expectations. We have always cruised with either P&O or Princess. Although, inevitably, there have been changes over the years, we remain extremely satisfied with the overall service and cruise experience we continue to receive from these cruise lines. The scenic cruising along the Chilean coastline and in the fjords plus the experience of rounding Cape Horn means that we would strongly recommend this cruise to others.
Magic tourByon 22 May 2015Princess Cruises | Star Princess Reviews
Highlight was a visit to Pearl Harbour in Honolulu which was one of the 4 Islands we visited in 4 hectic days one after another. It would have been nice to have spent an overnight in Honolulu after having spent four and half days at sea to get there from San Francisco before moving to the next island. The three other islands were nice for different reasons and the scenery was spectacular but the tours...

Princess let me down from arriving at LA Tom Badley,my scooter was lost for close on 3 hours and Princess were no where in sight, eventually the staff there found it and helped me to the shuttle bus for the hotel I was booked into. Not PPrincess.. On the ship itself, the “housleeping staff” took my scooter off me,and I had to ring them every time I wanted to go anywhere on the shi[p.. When I went...
Hawaii cruiseByon 29 December 2013Princess Cruises | Star Princess Reviews
Ship was excellent……programme was extensive, informative….food was so so in dining room…..buffets’ were good…..staff were excellent….excursions were good…embarkation/disembarkation went smoothly…..would have been nice to have had longer at the islands and Ensenada was a complete waste of getting off. Overall a good cruise but a long way to travel from the UK. If I did it again I would go in the warmer months (sea crossing was windy and cool – I like to sunbathe)...
