Title: Disappointing Summary: Ship very tired nowhere near the standard of other cruise liners. Food very repetitive. No coffee bars other than Costa which you have to pay for. Charged extra for pure orange juice at breakfast.

Title: Cruise Review Summary: We enjoyed our cruise as the staff, food and entertainment were excellent. This all makes for a happy and relaxed holiday. As I am disabled the staff made my getting on and off the ship very easy and I did not feel that I was a burden to anyone.

Title: Weekend to Bruges Summary: Thoroughly enjoyed our two night cruise. Staff were extremely helpful and the dinners in the main dining room in the evenings were wonderful. I felt that the breakfast and lunch buffet were less plentiful than other cruise lines offer ie Celebrity and Royal Caribbean. Cabin was spotless and extremely comfy bed. However the cabin wasn’t over spacious. Very enjoyable trip on the whole.

Title: 37th Cruise Summary: Been on so many different cruise ships, some with high standards. The Ventura, which we have sailed on a few times, however is still a nice ship with good entertainment, but had lots of vibrations and creaks throughout producing noisy cabin. The bedding & pillows need renewing to a higher standard. Daily weather forecast would have been helpful. The toast in the buffet was a disgrace and would be more useful for building bricks. Enjoyed...

Title: Enjoyable and fantastic cruise Summary: Pity about some smoking areas on the ship. Smoking should not be tolerated anywhere on cruises. Long waiting time for lifts on the cruise. Dining hall (Bay tree) could be made brighter, it is rather dark.

Title: Western Med Early October 2017 Summary: Decided to have an early autumn break to prolong the summer and that was just what we got. Started in Southampton on a wet Sunday afternoon with a smooth embarkation leaving the car with CPS, no hassle there. Hadn’t been on Ventura since our first cruise 8 years ago we loved her then and we were not disappointed this time. Some of the soft furnishings are a little worn which I suspect is why she...

Title: Full On Party Summary: 29th September 2017 We have cruised with P&O many times; this would be our second two night cruise break, it came up to expectations! Embarkation/Disembarkation The ship was using the Ocean Terminal in Southampton. The terminal works very well at getting people through as quickly as possible. Most people were carrying on the luggage which simplified things. The terminal was particularly noisy, and had a party atmosphere, we even saw a chap dressed as a...

Title: Lovely Ventura Summary: Just returned from a Canaries cruise on Ventura. Embarkation at Southampton was very good, on board before our allotted time and on boarding the ship was told our cabins were ready and the cases were outside, very impressed and a good start to our holiday. Muster was a bit chaotic as a lot of people were in a small space plus now you have to show your cruise card, which is a good idea but...

Title: Disappointed Summary: We had looked forward to going on Ventura after hearing many good reports, however we were very disappointed on two levels, the standard of food had certainly gone down (or perhaps this ships kitchen was poor) since our last cruise on Azura in February this year. No imagination with the veg, green beans served up with every meal and very little else. The staff in the restaurant, and I can only speak for the Saffron...

Title: Recent holiday Summary: We recently had a Canary cruise on board Ventura. We could not fault it at all. Food was great. Room cleaned twice a day. Waiters were excellent. The Ventura is having a refurb in March so will be even better. Would recommend this ship and crew

Title: Food and service on P&O Cruises Summary: While in general the food was good, I did not like being served frozen vegetables,= when on the menu it stated seasonal vegetables which I feel means fresh. I thought there was a shortage of staff in the dining room as the service was not what I have come to expect from P&O, taking up to an hour and fifty minutes to complete service. The dining room staff were smart and friendly and as efficient...

Title: “Butlins on Sea” Summary: Biggest ship I’ve travelled on – too big!! Wrong time of year – loads of children everywhere. Since Carnival took over P & O the service has declined. Little touches such as “towel animals” on beds – messages on pillow chocolate (if they get any smaller they will disappear) interesting napkin shapes – downgrading of toiletries which are not replenished once used up. My travelling companion has limited mobility and so we are very careful...

Title: Leaves much to be desired Summary: This is billed as a 5 day cruise however it really was only 3.5 days; we boarded at around 4pm on the Friday and were off at 8am on the Tuesday. The cabins, ours was a superior with balcony, were uninspiring and tired and felt more like a Premier Inn. The food was mediocre, plated up meals arrived stacked four high with their plastic covers keeping the food luke warm. No dishes of vegetables offered...

Title: Spanning 70 years in age, a family is wedded to P&O Cruises. Summary: This Iberian coast 7-day cruise, our ninth with P&O, was as good as ever, We were a family numbering 16, aged from 15 – 85, and had a wonderful time. The youngsters (15-56) enjoyed all the ports of call, including a beach day in Vigo. The oldies (78 and 85) never set foot off the ship, happy to be pampered and entertained and to relax. We all had an equally good time. On our return,...

Public areas of ship closed too many times, Promenade deck was permanently closed at one end, other areas taped off daily. Lifts not always open, continually held on certain floors. Corridors very noisy.
