Title: Greek Adventure Summary: Although the cruise was very good and the staff were excellent, including going off the ship for trips ashore, we found the ship too large and difficult to get around with Pat being disabled. The restaurant was hard to get to, as we had to get two lifts to get to it which was difficult with so many passengers using the lifts at the same time, apparently it was something to do with where the...

Title: Ventura cruise 23/6/17 Summary: Mostly good, but service standards are dropping. Weather was fantastic, the sea calm but the quality and quantity of the food is going downhill. The bigger family ships need to have a member of staff on the pool deck to manage the pool areas. Lots of teenagers bombing into the pool making swimming impossible and a mess around the pool area of plastic cups, napkins ,plates and food remnants. No one bothered to enforce rules...

Title: GREEK ISLANDS Summary: Nice cruise, good itinerary, although a little too much time at sea then 5 port days in a row. Not helped by a heat wave in southern Europe so temperatures a bit higher than normal. Ventura a little tired and in need of forthcoming refurbishment. More and more reductions being made by P&O, nothing major just the little bits that don’t matter to some people. Appreciate that this may be necessary to keep costs down...

Title: First and last time Summary: A ship that is too large and not conducive to good design/layout. Hard to find some places.(especially toilets which were few) Entertainment was dire compared to other Cruises. If it wasn’t for meeting another couple on board we might as well have been at home. Waiters did not understand good English and the service was slow. Organisation was very poor. A bun fight to reclaim luggage at Southampton. Many who had sailed with P&O previously...

Title: P&O Cruises Ventura Summary: Menus had too many fish dishes for our liking. We had twin beds and paperwork quoted queen bed, not possible to push together. Hit our heads on the upper pullmans. Cabin boy was new but needed more help as things were not done properly. Service at meal times was very good. All staff were also very pleasant.

Boarding the Ventura was seemless, our cabin was a superior deluxe and was very spacious. We also had freedom dining which was an excellent idea giving us freedom to dine when we wanted. The entertainment as very good. Food was not as good as previous cruises on P&O. The staff and service was good. The ship is beginning...

Title: 3 night taster cruise on Ventura Summary: We had a fantastic time on this short cruise. The day at sea was just us anchored in the British channel with beautiful weather. The entertainment crew were great and Badness’ performance was brill. We had a corner balcony room at the very back of the ship which I would defo book again because the balcony was huge, B748. Only drawback for us was that it was during school holidays and the ship was full...

Title: Amazing Ventura Cruise experience Summary: Amazing 19 day cruise around Greek Isles. Loads to do on ship if you want to immerse yourself into cruise life, but equally loads of quiet areas if you prefer not to. Good trips. Fantastic embarkation and equally fantastic dis-embarkation. Amazing food and spotlessly clean ship. Plenty of sun beds. We went through Bolsover Cruise Club for the first time and they offered a superb service from start to finish.

Title: Cruise Summary: Our cruise on the Ventura was very nice. just a few things was not up to normal. 1. A good thing, P&O did a check on the life boat drill all ship cards were scanded to check every one was there. 2. P&O changed the show times on board at night, we have always gone on second sitting, so as to see the show at 10.30pm. This was not to be, we had to see...

Title: Lovely weather – fabulous ports – but far too much maintenance being carried out on cabins! Summary: We had a lovely holiday – visited wonderful ports – weather amazing – food fabulous but far too much cabin and balcony maintenance going on during time which we had paid for!! We drew the curtains back one morning to paint scrapings from the balcony above floating down like snow!! When asked, the maintenance men said they were decorating the balcony above us! Apparently when we spoke to the people in cabins above they said...

Title: Excellent Cruise, One Of The Best We’ve Had Summary: The ship was one of the biggest we’ve been on, however it was a friendly ship. Entertainment was excellent, with the strictly dance team and the dresses used in the strictly dance TV series. They all carried a photo of the celebritiy who had worn the outfit and what dance they performed with which professional dancer. The food was excellent from the formal evening dinners to the self service buffets on deck 15. The room...

Title: Super value Summary: Thoroughly enjoyable cruise. Excellent value for money. Strictly Come Dancing themed cruise so for the first time ever the ship felt full. However service and quality not sacrificed because of this. Ship in some areas looking a bit tired e.g. carpets and bars. Not a big fan of the charges for internet, feel they are too high but easy to pick up free wifi in every port. However it is good to have a break...

Title: Ventura – our last P & O Cruise Summary: What has happened at P & O? . We were given a check in time of 3PM and got on board about 30 minutes later ( despite being long established cruisers) cases arrived and then we were told to attend safety drill – no time for something to eat/drink. Cabin was not cleaned properly, carpet was tatty and stained we were told that stewards now have to clean 18 cabins instead of the 12 each...

Title: Disappointed with cruise Summary: Having been on Ventura & Azura on several occasions we found the quality of a good proportion of the clientele had dropped, is this because of the TV advertising attracting more people ? A further point was the number of wheelchairs, couldn’t move for them, no disrespect but could they not have a ship which catered for wheelchair users. Babies / young children were in the dining room which did not help the ambience. In...

Title: Canaries/Western Med Summary: Just returned from a cruise to the Canaries followed by Western Med, We have been on the Ventura before and will probably go again. The ship suits us in most respects although there are one or two niggles. We have found all the staff to be excellent. Our treatment of them is reflected in their treatment of us. We had freedom dining at lunchtime and Club Dining (2nd sitting) in the Bay Tree Restaurant. In...
