First time I have done a river cruise done plenty of sea cruises and wanted to see how they compare. Transfers were good and luggage in a cabin far quicker than the cruise liners but that’s because not as many on board, days were full for unlike sea cruises you always get a day to relax with a river cruise you are doing something every day. Not much choice with food but that’s because not many cooks on board but beware if you set at a table with 8 or 6 they will not take your order until table is full my wife is a diabetic and this was not good even sitting at a table for 4 then was a wait and tables for two were few and far between. One good thing all drinks during your meal are free as is water in the cabin and water to take ashore unlike cruise ships. The cabin was comfortable and kept very clean was surprised to find how quiet the ship was the only disappointing thing for us was the entertainment they had a resident pianist on board who was very good but the two local acts they brought on board, in my opinion, were not.
