Windstar Cruises Star Pride

The perfect getaway for those who enjoy luxury cruising, but a little more laid-back with all the aspects you expect on a five/six star cruise. The ship itself is beautiful, it looks like a private yacht! It has been recently renovated with a brand new spa, gym and restaurant. The suites had so much space including a walk-in wadrobe, bathroom with a shower and bath and a separate living room area and lots of other amenities like a fully stocked mini-bar. There’s plenty to do onboard considering it only carries 312 passengers, entertainment, quiet spaces, daily activities. The food and choices of drinks were amazing across all five dining venues, and bars. My highlights included the Deck Barbeque which happens once a cruise and the fact I could go onto the deck to meet the captain, his crew, and see how the ship is navigated – you don’t get this on a big cruise line! Finally, the service -the staff were so friendly, attentive and personal, they went above and beyond to make the cruise what it was.
