We have just got back from a 14 day cruise. The ship was lovely, plenty of amenities, wonderful food and excellent staff. We had the first four days at sea and I was quite apprehensive, to be honest I love cruising but like to discover new places and see a bit more of the world. I need not have been anxious, there was plenty to do, loads of entertainment, plenty of sun beds, plenty of swimming pools and “Movies Under the Stars” a real treat. I would really recommend it (and that comes from one who wasn’t keen at all!) You have to relax, no rushing around and when you work hard it’s a time to chill and reflect. As a family we loved the coffee area and the beautiful staircase in the atrium. We could watch the world go by! The eating areas are lovely with loads of choice and themed evenings but always plenty to eat and lots of choice. Our daughter liked the burger meals on one of the top decks and also the ice cream and pizza’s that you could get. Budget in advance for drinks we thought these were a little on the pricey side but we had taken that into account before we went. Shops quite well stocked and some real bargains on the duty free. We chose to do our own sight seeing when we were ashore as we thought the trips offered were very expensive. Quite easy to find a taxi or mini bus and share the cost with other passengers. Shuttle services were excellent and for a small cost took you into the town and picked you back up. Happy to answer any questions and be of help if you want to contact me through Bolsover Travel.
