Nanortalik, formerly Nennortalik, is a town in Nanortalik Island, Kujalleq municipality, southern Greenland. With 1,185 inhabitants as of 2020, it is the eleventh-largest town in the country. The name Nanortalik means “Place of Polar Bears” or “Place Where the Polar Bears Go”

Qaqortoq is a town in southern Greenland, set within a system of fjords. The town center is home to 18th-century colonial buildings and a landmark fountain. Qaqortoq Museum features displays about Greenlandic culture. From Lake Tasersuaq, trails lead through rugged mountains to the old Norse settlement of Igaliku. To the southeast, the hot springs at Uunartoq sit beside a bay dotted with icebergs.

Dating to 1608, it has a fortified colonial core, Vieux-Québec and Place Royale, with stone buildings and narrow streets. This area is the site of the towering Château Frontenac Hotel and imposing Citadelle of Québec. The Petit Champlain district’s cobblestone streets are lined with bistros and boutiques.

Montréal is the largest city in Canada’s Québec province. It’s set on an island in the Saint Lawrence River and named after Mt. Royal, the triple-peaked hill at its heart. Its boroughs, many of which were once independent cities, include neighbourhoods ranging from cobblestoned, French colonial Vieux-Montréal – with the Gothic Revival Notre-Dame Basilica at its centre – to bohemian Plateau.
