Straddling the mouth of the Douro River, the splendid city of Oporto holds such architectural importance that the entire historic center has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage site. A great place to begin your exploration is Praça da Liberdade, a lengthy public esplanade lined with graceful 19th-century buildings. You’ll find the city has no shortage of marvelous churches, from the imposingly fortified Porto Cathedral to the graciously appointed Clérigos Church, whose soaring bell tower offers panoramic vistas over the city’s picturesque red-tile roofs. In the 1906 Lello Bookstore, prepare to be swept away by elaborate art nouveau features including a sinuous double staircase and a luminous stained-glass skylight. But what’s a visit to Oporto without sampling its signature export, the fortified wine that shares the city’s name. Tour one of the illustrious cellars dotting the Douro’s southern bank, where port is crafted just as it has been for centuries, and savor exquisite samples of the sweet libation. When evening comes, take advantage of Oporto’s reputation as the best place to eat in Portugal, perhaps choosing among the delectable cod dishes for which the city is renowned.
Cadiz is believed to have been founded some 3,000 years ago which could make this port city the oldest in Western Europe. The city has so much to offer its visitors with its commercial importance, stunning beaches, regional cuisine and the Unesco Awarded Donana National Park. There’s several significant landmarks in Cadiz, some of which include the yellow-domed Cathedral, the ancient roman theatre, an 18th-century watch tower, the city walls and so much more. SeaDream docks in the heart of this Andalusian town.
Malaga, together with adjacent towns and municipalities such as Rincon de la Victoria, Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Fuengirola, Alhaurin de la Torre, Mijas, and Marbella, forms the Malaga Metropolitan area. The internationally acclaimed painter and sculptor Pablo Picasso and actor Antonio Banderas were both born in Malaga. SeaDream calls to Malaga both as an embarkation point as well as a typical port of call. Kindly check on the land adventures tab to see all of the activities and options. Barcelona, a Unesco Awarded City, is the second largest in Spain. It was the 12th-most-visited city in the world, and 4th most visited in Europe after London, Paris, and Rome. Especially remarkable is the work of architect Antoni Gaudi, which can be seen throughout the city. His best-known work is the immense but still unfinished church of the Sagrada Familia, which has been under construction since 1882 and is still financed by private donations. Completion is planned for 2026. SeaDream almost always docks downtown at the World Trade Center and is steps away from the famous boulevard of La Rambla. A SeaDream voyage sees a maximum of 112 guests served by an award-winning crew of 95, bringing a new level of attention and service to the seas. A SeaDream Yacht Club holiday is for travellers who love to sail the seas from within more intimate surroundings than those offered by large cruise lines. With accolades year upon year for the best boutique fleet, SeaDream promises an exceptional way to see the world in style.

SeaDream’s twin mega yachts offer a balance of casual comfort and refined elegance, the combination of which you can only truly find when yachting. Be as relaxed or active as you like, as when you set sail with SeaDream it’s all about your personal choice. On your SeaDream voyage you will experience intimate harbours, spend overnight stays soaking up the culture and nightlife of each destination, dine alfresco, enjoy water sports and swimming from the yacht’s very own Marina Platform and make the most of the 360 degree views from the ‘Top of the Yacht’ bar.
Your SeaDream fare includes an ocean view stateroom complete with flat screen TV, mini bar, Bvlgari® bath amenities and plush terry bathrobes. Gourmet meals, gratuities, use of the fitness centre, activities with the crew from biking, hiking, kayaking and snorkelling, use of the water sports equipment from the yacht marina and SeaDream’s Champagne and Caviar Splash in the Caribbean is also included within your fare.
Choose to dine in the elegantly appointed Dining Salon, where the service is just as impeccable as the cuisine. Alternatively, dine al fresco on deck at the Topside Restaurant, enjoying an unforgettable evening with dinner under a full moon whilst anchored in port. All cuisine about a SeaDream vessel is served ‘à la minute’ and carefully created from the freshest of produce.
No yachting holiday is complete without a private marina and SeaDream I and SeaDream II each have their own retractable units. Swim off the back of the yacht, dive a little deeper beneath the surface with the snorkelling gear provided, soak up the sun on a floating island and trampoline, hop on a banana boat, take a ride on a personal water craft or be more adventurous with a tube, wake or water-ski ride.
A SeaDream voyage isn’t only about where you will go, but the experience as you go there too. Make the most of the yachting lifestyle as you flit between destinations, joining crew members on hikes and guided walks, making the most of complimentary mountain bike trips and awakening your inner foodie as you accompany the chef to exciting local markets, sampling local specialities along the way. With your SeaDream yacht anchored off-shore, a Zodiac tender will transport you directly to the world’s most exotic and isolated beaches.
There are optional Land Adventures to suit everyone from the sportsperson to history buffs and thrill seekers, so you can choose between sampling local wines and olives, swimming with dolphins, taking helicopter riders over volcanoes, river rafting, hunting for truffles and so much more.
Whether you fancy sleeping beneath the stars on a Balinese Dream Bed, watching Starlit Movies on an outdoor movie screen or enjoying a fine cognac and cigar at the ‘Top of the Yacht’ Bar, you really can take the evening all in your stride. The sounds of live music will follow you around ship and you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy pre-dinner cocktails and hors d’oeuvres whilst mingling with your fellow passengers.
If a balcony is a prerequisite for you, then you may be disappointed to hear that neither ship in the SeaDream fleet offer them, as one would expect aboard ships so closely modelled on private yachts. Each vessel’s expanse of teak deck offers more than enough space for you and your fellow passengers to find a peaceful corner of your own, with views of the ocean surrounding you as you relax.
SeaDream’s philosophy centres around casual perfection without exception and you won’t find the afternoon teas, black-tie galas and stage shows associated with traditional cruising. Instead, you will join well-travelled fellow passengers to see the world’s most amazing destinations in absolutely comfort, just as you would aboard your own private mega-yacht. If peace, privacy and pampering is high on your list, SeaDream fits the bill perfectly.
