    Single Cruisers

Not the best experience I have had!! Which is why P&O have stopped the 'share' scheme for singles. I was lucky enough to get a cabin to myself from Mumbai on (paid for it mind) but found sharing with a stranger pretty difficult.

    2014 World Cruises

I am doing a world cruise on QV in January, and very much looking forward to it. Have only been on Queen Mary once, which was very elegant, and mostly cruised with P&O, as I would have continued to do had the itinerary been suitable for me. f.a.o. Cornish girl I was in China last year, and did the overland tour to Xian, so would thoroughly recommend that one. Absolutely wonderful. Not the right time of year for Japan however.

    Pre Booking Tours Through Cunard

Actually, I was not impressed by this, and have only booked the overland tour on QV next year. Shall have to take a chance with other tours, and hope I am not disappointed once I get on the ship in January. I do so like to go to the tour talks, then make up my mind what to do.

    Heard good reviews about Adonia

I did a 7 day trip to Norway on this friendly little ship, and thought it 'comfortable'! Glad not to be doing any parts of a world cruise on her though, as I missed the theatre, and cinema. The venue for both was not the best. A short cruise would be fine, and some disabled cruisers found the ship very easy to get around on.

    Hello, I'm New Today

Oh dear, just read this post after asking (under S.America topic) about a trip from Rio next year. Doesn't sound very hopeful given that there has been quite a lot of trouble there recently. agh!!

    Rio De Janeiro

Have always fancied a trip to S.America, next one to tick off in 2014. I am doing an overland trip from Rio to take in Iguaza falls. Would like any information on this. Hope I shall be able to keep up with the youngsters, but having done China last year, I might be o.k.!!! Having a 'gap' 4 months at 70+
