Elsea 1 Report post Posted March 7, 2014 I dislike tribute acts. I would much prefer to see an original artist, not a bad copy of the original. why can't artists just be themselves? 1 naamah reacted to this
sheilaandmike 48 Report post Posted March 26, 2014 Did Round Britain on Arcadia 3 years ago ships first visit to Liverpool, and a band came on board and stayed till Dublin i think and they were a Beatles tribute band, and they were brilliant i swear if you were not looking you would have thought it was the beatles or a record, they were called "The Beatles Tribute band" I think.I live in the south of England and would willingly travel up to Liverpool and pay for accomodation etc to go see them again. Pesky Pirate 152 Report post Posted March 26, 2014 The Beatles were one of the few shows that I have sat through and were good but they did have one slight problem with having 3 right handed guitarists instead of two…. But other than that… And it isn't a criticism .

jaguar01 546 Report post Posted July 5, 2014 Hello, there is an Eagles tribute band called,Tallon.Get the connection ?. We have seen them four times in smallish theatres and in my oppinion they are very very good. I heard someone once say they are better than the Eagles.I allways choose to ignore silly comments. They appear every year on at least one Fred Olsen Cruise. Rodger.
Jeffniffer 16 Report post Posted June 28, 2015 A few years ago we saw Jane Middleton ( I think that was her name) as Annie Lennox. She was terrific. So much so, I went and bought a CD of Annie Lennox which I love. This was on Ocean Village 1 and 2.
Guest Solent Richard Report post Posted June 29, 2015 We went to a Bon Jovi Experience tribute act on Friday. Not quite Cunard but would go down a treat with P&O, they were great: so much so I ordered the original Bon Jovi CD from Amazon yesterday.
weaver 15 Report post Posted April 8, 2017 I also watched the Freddie Mercury tribute act on Ventura he was very good and very funny to. Think you have to be of a certain age to watch him as our friends who are a lot younger than ourselves didn't really enjoy it or know any of the songs!!!! making me feel very old.
