Something Different On Cruise Lines

1 post in this topic

My wife and I were in London earlier in the week and one of our destinations was to see the 'Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red' at the Tower of London's famous dry moat.

While there i spotted on the opposite side of the River thames a small cruise ship that I had previously spotted a few days before making a call at Cowes on the Isle of Wight.

It certainly looked a rather older style cruise ship and out of interest I took a photograph of the FTI Berlin...

This morning after a quick search I discovered the FTI Berlin's history from launch in 1981 to present day.

She has certainly served a few lines under a few names...

Orange Melody.

Princess Mahsuri

and quite recently, under the Saga banner, the Spirit of Adventure.

fascinating stuff.
