Fred's new livery

How could they have a union flag on the front with a name like Olsen? P&O may be owned by Carnival but they still portray the British name of old. The ships may not be registered in the UK but P&O still conjures up a certain image, even today.

Well it passes the "duck test" for me.

Sails from more UK ports than any other line, mainly UK customers, English main language on board, and serves roast beef and Yorkshire puddings.

"If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck".

i really prefer the white colour - the black looks very dull no shine or anything

Actually, it's not black - more of a battleship grey I'd say.

We were on Black Watch (on the Canaries Christmas and Funchal Fireworks cruise) and saw the application of the new livery progress as we went along.

Have to say, I prefer the old coachwork.
