Greek Islands?

Recommended Posts

I agree with blondie, these cruise lines are usually pretty good and have some great itineraries. If you want something completely different though and to see some ports you cant reach on larger ships then look at Seabourn or Azamara, two companies i'd love to sail with at some point and always seem to have some brilliant itineraries.

Just back from a greek Islands cruise with Azamara, look at their itinaries, they get into the smaller islands such as Santorini and stay for later and also overnight in ports such as Rhodes, well worth it!.

You tend to get itineraries like this one:- usually starting and ending with an Italian Port.

Venice, Italy

Dubrovnik, Croatia

Cruising

Kusadasi (Ephesus), Turkey

Santorini, Greece

Katakolon, Greece

Cruising

Venice, Italy

There are longer cruise, such as this one offered by Celebrity, but they do still involve Italy and Turkey!

ROME (CIVITAVECCHIA), ITALY

AT SEA

SANTORINI, GREECE

AT SEA

ISTANBUL, TURKEY

ISTANBUL, TURKEY

EPHESUS (KUSADASI), TURKEY

MYKONOS, GREECE

ATHENS (PIRAEUS), GREECE

AT SEA

NAPLES, ITALY

ROME (CIVITAVECCHIA), ITALY

But the most with the Greek focus, and including an overnight stay, would be Azamara, even still they do have Turkey in there also.

ATHENS (PIRAEUS), GREECE

MYKONOS, GREECE

EPHESUS (KUSADASI), TURKEY

KOS, GREECE

RHODES, GREECE

RHODES, GREECE

MARMARIS, TURKEY

SANTORINI, GREECE

ATHENS (PIRAEUS), GREECE

I am doing the Azamara cruise that Popsicle highlighted and I also agree with sammy sun - A cruise that visits Istanbul and Santorini in 1 go is fabulous!
