Princess Cruises Expands Ocean Medallion Class Ships

Three more Princess Cruises ships will join the Medallion Class fleet – Crown Princess, Golden Princess and Ruby Princess. Crown Princess and Golden Princess will be Ocean Medallion ready in November 2018, with Ruby Princess to follow in January 2019. Four other ships in the Princess Cruises fleet have previously been scheduled to feature the new technology: Regal Princess on November 13, 2017; Royal Princess on January 19, 2018; Caribbean Princess on March 18, 2018; and Island Princess on May 16, 2018. From June 21 to June 25, Royal Caribbean’s Snapchat channel will allow viewers to experience one of-a-kind underwater adventures through the lens of Snapchat Spectacles. After her two-week dry dock refit, Princess Cruises’ Pacific Princess is ready for her summer season of sailings from the UK. Pacific Princess now boasts modern guest areas, new furnishings, four renovated dining rooms and the Princess livery on her hull. The ship’s atrium has been upgraded with a New York city hotel design, the pool has a new garden theme along with new tiling and refinished teak woods. New lounge furniture includes double bed loungers and casual seating groups of outdoor living sofas, lounge chairs and pool chaises. All her 336 staterooms now include the line’s signature Princess luxury beds and linens, new carpeting, drapery, lighting, USB ports and headboards. Queen Victoria Returns After Her £34m Refurbishment

Queen Victoria has now returned to the UK after her £34million investment with a host of new features including additional cabins and suites, and a new restaurant. Queen Victoria was taken out of service on 5 May 2017 to undergo thoughtfully designed enhancements at the Fincantieri Shipyard in Palermo, Italy and was completed on June 4 2017. Last year, sister ship Queen Mary 2 went through a £90 million ‘Remastering’, which saw everything from the introduction of single cabins, to the transformations of the King’s Court and Grand Lobby, and smaller details such as furnishings in Queen Mary 2’s Grills Suites.
