It has been confirmed by Channel 5 that Holland America Line and Silversea will appear on the fourth series of Cruising with Jane McDonald, which will be back on our TV screens from Friday June 8 at 9pm.
The four-part series will have a slightly different format from the previous three series and will feature two cruise lines for two episodes each, across four episodes, rather than a line per episode.
During the first two episodes of Cruising with Jane McDonald, Jane heads to New Zealand and visits Australia on Holland America Lines MS Noordam on a 16-night cruise.
Carly Perkins, marketing director at Holland America Line, said: “Holland America Line was delighted to host Jane McDonald and the Channel 5 film crew for a second time to showcase our classic style and enriching journeys, this time cruising from Sydney to Tasmania and around the highlights of New Zealand on the beautiful Noordam. We’re all looking forward to watching Jane’s experiences down under on TV.”
On a two-week cruise on Silver Muse, Jane McDonald also visits South America, starting in Valparaiso, Chile, before making her way around the bottom of the continent to the Falkland Islands.
Erin Johnson, marketing director at Silversea, said: “We are extremely excited that Jane chose to embark upon her South American adventure with Silversea, and especially the beautiful Silver Muse. As a Silversea guest in her own right, Jane had a wonderful experience with highlights including an intimate lunch with a local Chilean family in Punta Arenas, plus a very special visit to the glacier in San Rafael. The guests loved having her onboard, and we are very much looking forward to the programme airing.”
