The countdown to the launch of MSC Cruises new ship, MSC Bellissima, has begun with exactly 100 days before the ship officially named in Southampton on 2 March 2019.
MSC Bellissima is the second ship in the Meraviglia class and has a guest capacity of 5,686 guests, making her the biggest ship to be named in Southampton.
Digital Assistant Zoe
MSC Bellissima will feature the new digital cruise assistant, Zoe, available in seven languages and designed to answers most commonly asked questions from cruisers.
The voice-enabled Artificial Intelligence device will be fitted in every cabin and has been custom designed in partnership with HARMAN International.
Alongside the very latest in guest technology, MSC Bellissima will be fitted with a large number of environmental features and innovative technology to reduce her environmental footprint. Some of the features on board to reduce the ship’s environmental footprint include LED lighting, an exhaust gas cleaning system for cleaner emissions and ventilation and air conditioning systems (HVAC) to recover heat from machinery spaces.
New Tapas Restaurant from Ramon Freixa
Designed as a social, dining experience, HOLA! Tapas Bar welcomes you into an amazing culinary experience created by the renowned Spanish chef Ramón Freixa, awarded two Michelin Stars.

I want guests to enjoy a true taste of Spain through appetizing tapas and a cheerful bar atmosphere. I am delighted to be collaborating again with MSC Cruises. Guests can also make the most of a choice of 12 international dining venues and 20 bars including a new French speciality restaurant L’Atelier Bistrot.
Cirque Du Soleil at Sea
MSC Bellissima will be the second MSC Cruises ship to feature Cirque du Soleil at Sea, with two brand new shows designed exclusively for MSC Cruises guests. The new show concepts will be revealed next month.
