Claiming the title of the world’s largest – and most adventure-filled – cruise ship, Royal Caribbean’s newest member of the Oasis class of ships, Symphony of the Seas, is one step closer to full completion as her April 2018 debut approaches. With her exterior now complete, the latest Royal Caribbean vessel floated out of her dry dock to begin the next phase of her interior construction.
Symphony of the Seas will offer 28 more staterooms than her newest sister ship Harmony of the Seas, touting new features and amenities for guests. The newest member of the fleet will also boast all the ground-breaking innovations and thrilling experiences Royal Caribbean have garnered worldwide recognition for on board Harmony of the Seas.
The distinct seven-neighbourhood concept, Bionic Bar robot bartenders, Broadway-calibre entertainment, the iconic waterfront Aqua Theatre, the Perfect Storm trio of waterslides, and Ultimate Abyss – the tallest slide at sea – are among some of the award-winning and acclaimed favourites to feature on board.
During her inaugural summer season, Symphony of the Seas will explore the Mediterranean calling at ports in Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca, Spain; Provence, France; Florence/Pisa, Rome and Naples, Italy, before arriving to Miami in early November to begin 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries.
