Virgin Voyages first luxury cruise ship is due to be launched in early 2020. Its highly innovative designs featuring both interiors and exteriors imagined by some of the world's most successful design firms all heavily influenced by retrofuturism and a return to the glamorous age of cruising.
There’s a Virgin twist on everything you’ll see aboard the Scarlet Lady, which means there will be no stuffy formalities, buffets or main dining rooms. Scarlet Lady will be able to take 2,700 passengers ("sailors") on a ship that can boast the latest marine technologies for energy recovery and environmental impact reduction.
On February 14 Virgin Voyages will reveal more details relating to the ship’s onboard experience as well as an additional destination to be featured on all voyages.
