Marella Discovery Becomes Adult-Only for Summer 2026

Marella Cruises, the UK-based cruise line operated by TUI, has revealed its plans for summer 2026, transforming the Marella Discovery into an adults-only ship.

Homeported in Limassol, Cyprus, the ship’s transformation will be made in response to the increasing demand for adult-only holidays. Marella Explorer 2 already offers an exclusively for adults experience, and its popularity has grown over recent years, the cruise line revealed.

Chris Hackney, Managing Director of Marella Cruises said: “This addition to the summer 2026 programme will allow customers who prefer an adult only ship a variety of itineraries to explore the sights of Greece, Cyprus and Turkey. We know from our research that three quarters of customers said adult only ships were important to them when making a booking.”

Marella Discovery’s 2026 adult-only sailings include the Grecian Discovery, Aegean Gems and Aegean Delights itineraries, which are on sale now.
