Children’s Facilities

Family-friendly cruise ships are packed with plenty to keep the kids entertained. Cruise with the likes of Royal CaribbeanMSC CruisesNCL or P&O Cruises and the kids will find a whole world of entertainment at their fingertips, from kids clubs to excursions designed especially for young explorers.

Each cruise line offers dedicated kids clubs for all ages aboard their family-friendly ships, plus a night nursery, children’s tea, discos and age-specific activities too. Kids club programmes usually cater for ages 2 to 17 years, thought night nurseries often cater for babies from 6 months old too, and qualified crew are on hand to ensure that children are safe at all times, leaving the grown-ups free to enjoy a little ‘me time’; is that a child-free night we see on the horizon?

You’ll find dining options to suit even the pickiest of eaters on family cruise ships too, along with friendly and helpful service whenever you choose to dine in the main dining rooms. The kids can even ditch mum and dad to enjoy their own ‘kid’s tea’, often followed by party nights and pyjama parties. If there’s one phrase that you’ll never hear uttered on a cruise ship, it’s “I’m bored”!
