MSC Cruises unveiled plans for its maiden voyage to Alaska in 2026, with the new routes now available to book. MSC Poesia will be homeported in Seattle for the duration of the season, embarking on weekly cruises over seven nights to Alaska and Canada starting on 11 May 2026.
Passengers heading to Alaska will have the opportunity to witness the unparalleled natural beauty, awe-inspiring vistas, and incredible wildlife of the area. They will visit a host of the region’s most scenic regions including Ketchikan, Icy Strait Hoonah, Tracy Arm, Juneau and Victoria.
A variety of shore excursions will be available, which includes experiencing the thrill of the world’s largest zipline, or peacefully watching whales glide through the waters.
CEO of MSC Cruises Gianni Onorato noted: “These new itineraries also see the introduction of a new homeport in the US, our fifth to date. Seattle is the perfect location to depart for Alaska, with excellent international flight connections making it easily accessible to guests from around the world, in particular we know our European guests have been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to sail to Alaska with MSC Cruises.”
